Fahy is a player who can get hot within 2-3 made shots, and if theyre falling, be ready to guard her the moment she touches the ball. She’s crafty on the handle, not bothered by contact, and has the speed to get by anyone and to keep up with anyone. A solid combo guard that can get you 10+ points with 5+ assists to go along with it.

Regardless of the stature, Fahy is nothing to take lightly. She’s aggressive, she’s competitive, and she has no fear at all. Whether in AAU or high school ball this summer, she has shown up and has shown out. Her skillset is predicated on her being the main ball handler and her speed, but she can play off-ball and be a secondary option if needed, and still be just as impactful. Catch and shooting, making the extra pass, being a decoy, whatever the task is, she is up for it.

If there were an all-event team for day 1, Fahy argues for being the first selected. The kid has so much talent regardless of her size, and absolutely has no fear whatsoever when taking it to the rim. From beyond the arc, she’s lighting out, and there’s not a shot that she’s not willing to take.

The amount of talented guards, let alone players, that come out of Maine South is a long list, and Hayden is in that group as well. She had multiple moments during our Extravaganza event that left scouts from other states stunned, and the couple of minutes I spent watching her team during that time left the same impression as well.

was the best overall player that I saw Saturday morning in action. Fahy might be a smaller guard but she is a handful. Offensively, she started things off by hitting a couple three pointers off the catch in the first half. In the second, she demonstrated that she is a complete PG. Someone that can score at the bucket in every way imaginable with either hand or she can create and hit others for a classy assist. Defensively, this is the type you ask to pick up in the full court for you and she will always have success. The athletic ability for her size is impressive and she sticks on her assignment at a high rate. This 16U Mac Irvin Fire team is loaded with college talent and Fahy is in that conversation. She put on a show Saturday morning and I can’t wait to see how she follows that up moving into Sunday.

Don’t give this young lady a second to get squared up, especially from the corner! Her muscle memory, particularly in shooting 3’s is dynamite! I like her speed and swift reactions when it comes to making decisions with the ball on transition.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Fahy has tapped into her aggression, and you’re starting to see the consistent confidence kick in. She has no fear when it comes to scoring the ball, and thats at the rim and behind the arc. Keep Chicago Hoops Express on your schedule this AAU season.

Fahy plays the game with a ton of speed and a type of confidence that keeps her going even through a bad shooting stretch. She doesn’t shy away from the physicality of the game either. At that size most plays will steer away from contact, but Fahy seems to welcome it on most possessions. Maine South will be a key team to watch at the upcoming Windy City Windmill event in June.

Impressive weekend from Fahy! I was impressed with her ability to push the pace and change the tempo all weekend long! Had a good scoring/playmaking balance throughout the weekend. Talked and communicated well on the defensive end which she ended up causing havoc for the opposing team, as she created a lot of turnovers and deflections. Her play was infectious which resulted in her team finishing 3-0 this weekend!
