The future is bright in the Miami Suns organization as Team Chels played up in 15U division with a roster of mainly middle school prospects in the class of 2027 and 2028.
Nylah Brooks Nylah Brooks 5'7" | SG West Florida | 2027 State FL – 5’3 Guard – Class of 2027
The Miami Suns are loaded with quick, athletic guards that play with bounce and are dangerous off the dribble. Brooks, a 5’3 guard that has yet to play a game in high school is one of the many talented players in the organization that has a chance to be special. She played in an older division and was very aggressive off the bounce and competed fiercely on the defensive end. She plays with competitiveness, high energy and bounce and flies all over the court on both ends.
Zharianna Guion – 6’1 Forward – Class of 2027
Guion is a young, big post with mass. She was a major presence in the paint and really stood out for her height, size, strength and mass in the younger divisions. While many post prospects develop late, Guion will be a good one to keep an eye on. She was effective in the paint and around the rim, competed hard, and got her hand on a lot of balls.
Jada Clardy Jada Clardy 5'9" | SF Booker T Washington | 2028 FL – 5‘7 Guard – Class of 2028
Clardy is a slender, athletic wing with a long wingspan. She is a high-level prospect that has a high ceiling. She is long and wiry and slashes off the bounce, attacking from the wing and the baseline. She spaced the floor, and looked for opportunities to rip to the rim and score in the paint.
Ya’niyah Young – 5’6 Guard – Class of 2027
Young is a bigger guard that can score with the ball in her hands and does a good job without the ball in her hands. She competes every possession that she is in the game, and is a very willing defender. She is a newcomer for me, and one to keep an eye on as she has a chance to be a high level prospect.
Bijoux Lacombe – 5’2 Guard – Class of 2028
Lacombe is a young guard to keep an eye on. Playing up 2-3 age levels, she knocked down open 3s, attacked off the bounce and defended well. Just a middle school prospect, she was not afraid of the stage or the competition level and was a very willing defender and fearlessly attacked off the bounce, getting into the paint.
Arianna Robinson Arianna Robinson 5'4" | CG Miami Country Day | 2028 FL – 5’5 Guard – Class of 2028
Robinson plays with a lot of confidence and is very aggressive on both ends of the floor. She constantly wants to push the tempo, advancing defensive rebounds and outlet passes and attacking in the open court. On the other end, she is an eager and willing defender that wants to pick up full court and apply pressure. Robinson has the potential to be an elite prospect as she continues to improve and impacts the game on both ends of the floor.
Kennedy Deal Kennedy Deal 5'8" | SF Miami Country Day | 2028 FL – 5’9 Wing – Class of 2028
Deal continues to improve as she gets older. Her body has filled out and she is bigger and stronger. At 5’9, she is a versatile young player that can play guard, wing and forward. She is bigger and stronger than pretty much everyone on the court. The Suns used her as a point forward vs pressure, advancing the ball and initiating offense. Deal stays aggressive on both ends and rebounds the ball well on the offensive glass and is a high percentage finisher in the paint.
