Let’s start with the Florida standouts.
Asiana McCreary Asiana McCreary 6'1" | SF Bartram | 2027 State FL – 6’1” 2027
McCreary was running the floor being ready for the pass in transition, and she knew how to clear the lane to open it up for her teammates. She had a nice steal stripping the ball from her opponents trying to drive by her, and she pushed it up the court taking full advantage of the turnover.
Khloe Rodgers – 5’2” 2029
Rodgers had a nice fake gettin by her opponents on a fast break making her defenders get off their feet in order for her to blow by them. She had a nice shot from deep hitting it in transition. On fast breaks, she was getting the long pass and putting up her shot without any dribbles. She was feisty on defense knocking the ball away from guards trying to dribble around her.
Faith Palao – 4’11” 2029
Palao was ready to shoot around the perimeter swishing it from deep on multiple occasions. She attacked the basket, too, getting to the hoop for some solo fast break points banking it off the glass and finishing even with hands in her face. She knew how to take advantage of a defense that wasn’t set yet getting by them and attacking the basket.
Callie James – 5’2” 2030
James had some nice range on her shot that she showed on multiple occasions getting open around the perimeter. She went three-for-three in the first half of her first game even with people closing out on her. She saw how to shift the defense and get her shot up off the pass.
Now, we are on to the Georgia standouts.
Loren Withrite Loren Withrite 5'9" | SG Chattahoochee | 2027 State GA – 5’8” 2027
Withrite had some nice range with her shot shooting the ball, and she even follows shots going after rebounds on the offensive side of the ball. She was attacking the basket getting inside for some points and battling through contact on the way. Her length was an asset on defense blocking shots, and she was shooting over her opponents around the perimeter. Her long stride helped her push it up the court.
Jalisa April – 5’3” 2027
April had a nice move on a solo fast break using ball fakes to create some space and get her points. She attacked the basket battling on the block for points, and she had some nice cuts to the basket off in-bounds plays. Her cuts were effective in set offensive plays finding the opening and looking for the pass. She hustled back on defense being ready to defend the basket.
Ansley Dunn – 5’3” 2028
Dunn was ready around the perimeter to show off her shot from deep. She did a nice job getting a defensive rebound, and she pushed this all the way to the other end of the court for a solo fast break battling through contact on the way. She had a nice drive to the hoop using a shot fake to lose her defender and score two points.
Michala Butler – 4’11” 2029
Butler was a feisty defender grabbing the steal and pushing it the other direction. She was persistent inside going after offensive rebounds knowing how to put the ball back up, and she was quick with her moves getting the open look.
