The guard could get to the rim in a hurry, finishing effectively with either hand while also showing the strength to score through contact. Butler was comfortable operating in the mid-range area, where she looked to create offense. A closer look at her athletic background reveals she also competes in football and softball in addition to basketball. That overall athleticism was evident on the court in her confidence, her speed up and down the courts, and her physicality. She didn’t shy from contact when going to the rim.
