There were plenty represented from the Garden State, including three of the five First Team all-tourney selections, and it’s time to break those down just a bit more below.
Faith Fedd-Robinson Faith Fedd-Robinson 5'11" | SF Newark Central | 2024 State NJ – Newark Central (2024)
Talk about a no-doubt selection here, Fedd-Robinson has made quite the name for herself throughout the Northeast and East Coast of the US over the past three seasons. She’s as complete a player in high school as you can ask for, a college-ready talent who we are still awaiting her final decision on that front. We think she’s plenty good enough to play at a Power Five program, but time will tell. That does mean we get to enjoy one more year of her at the high school level.
Mikayla Blakes Mikayla Blakes 5'8" | SG Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ – Rutgers Prep (2024)
Another college-ready talent and an incredible one at that, Blakes is the best player on one of the five best teams in the state. She’s been the anchor for the success of the Argos in recent years, and has grown into one of the best pure scorers and offensive talents we’ve seen in a long time. Her leadership skills and hard-nosed mentality play a big part in her success, and if she can find a way to win on the floor, she’s going to wear her heart on her sleeve, dive for every ball she sees and fight until the buzzer sounds to do so.
Rhian Stokes Rhian Stokes 5'8" | PG Ewing | 2024 State NJ – Ewing (2024)
Stokes is yet another big time rising senior that has yet to make her college commitment official, and will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated players to make that decision this season in New Jersey. Of the three-headed monster that Ewing has built in the last 3-4 years, Stokes is the leader of the bunch and the leader of the Blue Devils, leading by example and results. This is someone who has the ability to rattle off triple-doubles on a consistent basis, and her consistency makes her that much better overall.
