<p>Kansas Eclipse is club whose teams I do not often get to see. In addition to the <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2023/07/kansas-eclipse-16u-red-notes-from-the-end-game/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">16U </a>squad I enjoyed a good look at the 17U team at a contest at The End Game in Wichita this past Saturday. Enjoy the notes I scribbled down on a bunch of the team members. </p>

<p><strong>Kennedy Nutter</strong>, 5'11", PG/SG, Pembroke Hill (MO), PF/SF, 2024 - Step back handles to create well with. Average built with good length to play and defend all five positions. Good north-south speed. Corner three off catch.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='668859' first='Addison' last='Tower'], 5'4", SG, De Soto, 2024 - Solid perimeter shooting threat off the catch. Swift, not wasted movement release. Quick defender. Good bounce. light on her feet. Good handles. Ran the point at times.</p>

<p><strong>Meghan Murphy</strong>, 5'8", PG, Liberty (MO), 2024 - Good handles. Very composed working against defenders who constantly bumped her. Athletic. Gets to the rim with extension. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='669097' first='Kaitlin' last='Parker'], PF, Shawnee Mission Northwest, 2024 - Best athlete amongst the bigs. Good size and strength, strong base. Not showing she can hit the three with consistency. Good free throw shooter. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='743335' first='Katie' last='Mitchell']</strong>, 5'10", CG/SF, Shawnee Mission Northwest, 2024 - Good athleticism but has to protect the ball better on the finish.. Transitions well with speed. Spot-up corner three point threat.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='743337' first='Amanda' last='Tower']</strong>, 5'5", CG, De Soto, 2024 - Good frame for her height. Average speed with the ball. Perimeter threat with quick, no wasted movement, release off the catch. Anticipates well to jump passing lanes.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='396408' first='Paige' last='Cheffey'], 6'0", PF/C, Shawnee Mission Northwest, 2024 - Big, strong post who ties up opposing bigs defensivly. Needs to get quicker and faster to take advantage of her skills.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='335938' first='Aaliyah' last='Moss'], 5'10", CG/SF, Gardner-Edgerton, 2024 - Creates well, including her own shot, from the wing but must get physically stronger. Has scoring ability, like dominant type, but does not look to score as frequently as she should. Needs to sit down defensively.</p>
