After traveling all spring and summer, scholarship offers have been being distributed by college programs after identifying prospects that they think would be a great fit for their programs. The Miami Suns have been consistently posting scholarship offers that have gone out to the players in their program. Here is who has recently been offered.
Eris Lester Eris Lester 5'10" | SF Montverde Academy | 2024 State FL – 5’11 Guard – Class of 2024
Offers: NC State, Kentucky, Auburn, Alabama, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Missouri, Purdue, Georgia, Georgetown, Austin Peay, Columbia, East Carolina, USF, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, UCF, Florida, Tulsa, Penn, Ohio State, Memphis, Lafayette, Georgia Southern, FSU, FIU, Miami, William & Mary, George Washington
The offers have been coming in steady all spring and summer for Lester, as she has had a tremendous showing during the evaluation periods and a quick glimpse at the list of offers and her twitter feed show you the many colleges that would love to have Lester suit up for their program next season!
Kaliyah Morales Kaliyah Morales 5'7" | PG Miami Country Day | 2024 State FL – 5’9 Guard – Class of 2024
Offers: Long Island University
Morales had a solid July with Team Fowles, showcasing her ability and desire to play on both ends of the floor. She recently picked up an offer from Long Island University in New York.
Kayla Nelms Kayla Nelms 6'1" | PF Miami Country Day | 2024 State FL – 6’1 Forward – Class of 2024
Offers: St. Johns, Auburn, Clemson, Georgetown
Nelms has not been as public with her scholarship offers on social media but has a number of offers as she has been one of the best players in the EYBL all throughout the spring and summer leading in multiple statistical categories at multiple events.
Sofiah Miller Sofiah Miller 6'1" | PF Sarasota | 2025 State FL – 6’2 Forward – Class of 2025
Offers: Tennessee Tech
Miller was a role player all spring / summer for Team Fowles and was effective when she was in the game as a low post player, rebounder, and in the paint. Originally from Tennessee, Miller picked up an offer from Tennessee Tech this summer. Just a rising Junior, if Miller continues to play at a level that she did this summer, her opportunities should continue to open up.
Abby Price Abby Price 5'11" | SG Westminster Academy | 2025 State FL – 5’11 Guard – Class of 2025
Offers: University of Maine, Lynn University
Price is a sharpshooter who can let it fly from deep. Price moved back and forth this spring and summer with the Suns playing both 16U and 17U. Showcasing her ability to be a high percentage 3-point shooter and a big guard Price picked up an offer locally from Lynn University as well as University of Maine.
Jaelynn Housey – 5’10 Guard – Class of 2026
Offers: Florida Atlantic University, UCF
Housey is one of Florida’s top young prospects and picked up offers from in state Florida Atlantic University and UCF. The young guard had a strong showing in front of college coaches and should she continue to improve and play a high level, she will continue to catch the attention of college coaches all throughout the country.
Jalynn Belton Jalynn Belton 5'10" | SF Miami Country Day | 2027 State FL – 5’11 Wing – Class of 2027
Offers: SMU, Georgia, UCF
Belton has established herself as one of the top players in the country in the class of 2027 and college coaches took notice. The big wing picked up multiple offers including SMU, Georgia, and UCF.
Victoria Valle Victoria Valle 5'7" | PG Doral Academy | 2027 State FL – 5’7 Guard – Class of 2027
Offers: George Mason
Valle was one of the top young players this July and George Mason took notice, offering the young guard. Valle has a ton of potential and could be a major prospect.
Naya Hardisson Naya Hardisson 5'6" | PG Southridge | 2027 State FL – 5’7 Guard – Class of 2027
Offers: George Mason
Hardisson had a strong showing on the circuit this spring / summer often playing up 1-2 age divisions. She handled the ball, knocked down open 3s, and competed on both ends of the floor. George Mason noticed her stellar play and extended an offer to the young prospect.
