The PGH Florida Freshman Showcase took place Sunday August 13 and some of the state’s top Freshman assembled to compete against each other. We break down every single player that participated in the event, next up is team 3.
Gabi Iturralde Gabi Iturralde 5'7" | PG Tocoi Creek | 2027 State FL (Tocoi Creek) 5’6 Guard
Iturralde is a solid guard with a quiet demeanor. She played aggressive and physical and throughout the showcase and competed every possession. Knocked down open 3s and moved well without the ball cutting to the basket with purpose. Quietly had solid performance. Efficient offensive player that can attack going right and score at rim. Doesn’t force anything but shoots high percentage. Might have played too unselfish.
Kimora Green (Tampa Prep / Ladies Skills Center Elite ) 5’5 Guard
Green is a strong guard who looks to attack and get to rim frequently. She has a solid build with broad shoulders and attacks the baseline off the bounce well going to her right hand. She picked up her aggressiveness as the showcase progressed and knocked down perimeter shots when left open.
Sarah Coble (George Steinbrenner / Candance Parker Tampa Aces) 5’7 Wing
Coble has a long and lanky build and is strong going to her left. She plays unselfish and is a willing passer who is ready to shoot from the baseline and the wing looking to let it fly from 3.
Makayla White Makayla White 5'2" | PG Central FL Chriistian Academy | 2027 State FL (Central Florida Christian Academy / TNBA South Pink) 5’0 Guard
White is a small, quick guard who moved well laterally and is a pesky on ball defender. I would like to see her use her athleticism more and be more aggressive as she has a high upside and a lot of potential. When other players slowed down towards the end of the event, White seemed to pick it up. She made several acrobatic and hustle plays in the last game of day on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.
Skii Fournier (Lake Howell / Irene Rainey Premiere) 5’7 Wing / Forward
Fournier has really great size for a wing / forward. She has a high upside with an excellent combination of size and skill. Fournier moved well without the ball and cut to the rim with purpose. She quietly had a very consistent performance across all games and finished in the paint at a high percentage.
Ameera Kone Ameera Kone 6'0" | PG Boca Raton | 2027 State FL (Boca Raton HS) 5’10 Guard / Wing
Kone has a great combination of size and strength for a perimeter player with a body that is mature for her age. She stood out in the showcase for her body as she was bigger and stronger than everyone and has a solid overall offensive solid skill set and is a very good rebounder from the perimeter. Kone knocked down open 3s at a high percentage from both the wing and the corner and used her body, size and strength to finish in the paint vs contact. She has a step back going both left and right from 3 and posted up smaller players sealing in the low post and used her strong lower base and combo of size and strength to seal in the low post.
Jordyn Baker Jordyn Baker 5'10" | PF Palm Bay | 2027 State FL (Palm Bay Magnet / East Coast United 2026 Family) 5’10 Forward
Baker has great size and matched up well against Asiana McCreary Asiana McCreary 6'1" | SF Bartram | 2027 State FL in several battles. She is versatile as she covered both interior and perimeter players, moving well laterally by keeping players in front of her. She runs the floor hard in transition out running opposing front court players for easy buckets in transition. She had solid performance in all games and was one of the more under rated players throughout event as she was super consistent. She didn’t try to do too much but was productive on both ends and was quietly one of the top performers at the event.
Summer Stone Summer Stone 5'8" | SG Somerset College Prep | 2027 State FL (Somerset College Prep / Florida All Stars) 5’8 Guard
Stone is a solid combo guard who looks to attack off the bounce primarily with her right hand. Stone struggled versus pressure but knocked down open 3 pointers when left open. Stone played with her head up and makes passes to players in scoring position unselfishly. She runs the floor hard and competed consistently every possession she was in the game.
Alyssa Hill Alyssa Hill 5'10" | SF Cardinal Gibbons | 2027 State FL (Cardinal Gibbons / Miami Suns G Nation ) 5’10 Guard / Wing
Hill is a bigger guard / wing with a very versatile skill set. She played composed and under control and selectively found opportunities to be aggressive on the offensive end without forcing. She was very efficient and shoots a high percentage from the field. Hill has 3-point range, goes to the boards consistently. She is a smart player, with a high basketball IQ and like how she puts the ball to the floor with purpose. She does a lot with few dribbles and is very efficient.
Iniya Reddicks Iniya Reddicks 5'7" | SG Deltona | 2027 State FL (Daytona High School) 5’9 Guard
Reddicks was one of the top players in the event. She is a long, aggressive dynamic guard with a scorer’s mentality. She is very athletic and is an excellent finisher in the paint with a smooth 3-point stroke and excellent range. She is a major playmaker who played and produced at a high level. Her elite level of athleticism, well rounded offensive skill set and shift and crafty 1v1 moves were fun to watch and make her an elite level player.
