Each player has demonstrated this AAU season that they can play at a high level and hold their own against some of the best players in the country. They will attempt to take this momentum from their spring/summer season and ride it right into the high school year. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

A player stepping up this season into the high school game is Olivia Brown Olivia Brown 5’6″ | SG Bridgeport | 2027 NE . Brown is a 5’7 shooting guard from Bridgeport, Nebraska. She also happens to be one heck of a basketball player. Brown is an athlete that can already do quite a few things on the floor, making her a crucial piece to her teams success a majority of the time. She is pretty versatile from what I’ve seen thus far. Defensively, she works hard and gives it her all. If she ever makes a mistake on offense, she does a great job brushing it off and getting it back on the other side of the floor. Brown will definitely be a player to know over the next few high school seasons with the progression she has shown over these past few months.
Brynn Sebek Brynn Sebek 5’6″ | SG Pius X | 2024 State NE put together a nice AAU spring/summer season for her ETG Midwest 17U team. Sebek is a team player. Someone who can come into the game, knock down several jumpers from deep in a row, and provide a big boost for her teams. She is also a fundamental player that doesn’t try to do too much. Her best ability is definitely catching the ball and letting it fly from three point range, but she is also someone with balanced coordination and good knowledge of the game. She can handle and put the ball on the floor if she is over-played, with the ability to facilitate to the others around her. I’m expecting a big senior year out of Sebek at Pius X high school. If she can stay consistent and she keeps working hard, the college offers could continue to pile in for her.
Another player that put together a nice AAU season for her perspective team is Jenna Luebbe Jenna Luebbe 5’8″ | SG Lincoln Lutheran | 2024 State NE . Luebbe is a combo guard in my opinion. Meaning that she can move between the 1 and 2 position, depending on what her team needs from her. She has the ability to handle and move down the floor with the ball in her hands or move to the off-guard position and shoot from deep at a consistent rate. She has an efficient finishing ability at the rim, with the choice to finish with either hand once she gets there. This AAU season Luebbe has gotten some offers to play at the college level. I’m not sure if she will commit before the high school season tips but if she doesn’t, and she has a season like last year, she is going to be receiving some more interest as the high school season moves forward. We will just have to wait and see for her choice, but either way, I’m excited to see Luebbe compete this winter at Lincoln Lutheran.
Elise Pederson Elise Pederson 6'0" | SF Omaha Westside | 2027 NE

Elise Pederson Elise Pederson 6’0″ | SF Omaha Westside | 2027 NE has shown glimpses of what she can do on the court and it is promising. Pederson stands at around 6FT going into her freshman year, with some solid coordination and skill to go along with that. She knows how to handle her own by the basket, while being a fundamental player in most aspects of the game. From what I have seen thus far, it’s a possibility that she becomes a lengthy 2-3 guard over the years, during her high school career. She is coordinated enough to be able to handle pressure by an opponent and still make the correct decision with the ball in her hands. The ceiling is high for Pederson. Her development is key but if she does it correctly and physically grows as well, she is going to be a dominate player throughout the state of Nebraska over the next 4 years.
Grace Holm Grace Holm 5’9″ | SG Douglas County West | 2024 State NE is committed to Midland University to play for her college career but she still has one more season of high school basketball to compete in, something she is more than excited for. Holm’s is a knock down shooter and a fundamental guard overall. She is always ready to catch-and-shoot from the perimeter with her silky smooth jump-shot. Her balance is even and she understands to chop her feet, when slowing down into a look from behind the three point line. Defensively, she is a menace on the ball that creates a lot of turnovers in the open court. Midland University got a good one with Holm’s. She is going to come-in, listen to instruction from her coaches, and produce at an efficient rate. Can’t ask for much more!
