Eva Andrews Eva Andrews 5'10" | CG Paul VI | 2024 State NJ – Paul VI (2024) commits to North Carolina A&T
Paul VI was not going to stop its college basketball pipeline anytime soon, and now, they can add 2024 prospect Eva Andrews Eva Andrews 5'10" | CG Paul VI | 2024 State NJ to the list after her commitment to HBCU program North Carolina A&T.
Andrews is going to be one of the key driving forces for Paul VI this season, running the point with confidence and some swagger about her. Not having 2023 standout Hannah Hidalgo might present some issues early on, but a player like Andrews who can hit threes with ease and should be scoring 12-14 PPG this season will give the Eagles a big boost come Olympic Conference action.
Abby Misier Abby Misier 6'4" | C Highstown | 2024 State NJ – Hightstown (2024) visits Le Moyne
Misier received an offer from Le Moyne earlier this summer, but this week, she took an official visit to the school following the completion of her AAU season.
We are genuinely surprised that more teams haven’t tried to go after the 6-4 forward who plays well down in the post and uses her size to her advantage better than most bigs at this level. We know her double-double ability, something that almost seems like a given, but how she commands herself down low is even more impressive of a watch. A leader among teammates, Misier is a must-watch 2024 prospect.
GiGi Battle GiGi Battle 6'0" | CG Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ – Rutgers Prep (2026) offered by Miami, Illinois, Ohio State
Add not one, not two, but three more Power Five offers to Battle’s ever-growing offer list after receiving offers from Miami, Illinois and Ohio State.
The amount of schools she already has to pick from is incredible, and now she can add three more, including two that have been perennial powers in the college game for a bit now. Miami is coming off its first Elite Eight appearance in program history in 2023, and Ohio State has competed for Big Ten titles and AP Top 10 rankings in recent years. Who better to add to the growing nucleus of those programs than a player like Battle.
Amanda Baylock Amanda Baylock 5'6" | PG Scotch Plains-Fanwood | 2024 State NJ – Scotch Plains-Fanwood (2024) offered by Ithaca
We haven’t heard Baylock’s name in the recruiting space in some time, and it looks like Ithaca is her first college offer to date, announcing it on Aug. 2.
She had the season to earn it as a junior, averaging 21.3 PPG in 29 games with SPF, knocking down a career-high 72 three-pointers and 3.7 steals per game. Her production exploded to a point that not many else thought she would reach this quickly, but with 16 20-point games on the year, her rise to success is anything but a fluke, making her a prime POY candidate this coming season.
