Courtney Fonte, Royalty
Courtney is a very talented guard who can play both guard spots. Excellent hands with a very good skillset. Good range and a solid perimeter game She does a good job being able to create plays with solid handles, tough to put pressure on, she seems poised for her age and able to control the action. A player who I would expect to see her skill development to continue with her work ethic.
Paige Schnaus, Southern Indiana Mavericks
She plays much higher than what a typical eighth-grader would. Her ceiling is phenomenal and as she gets older, I would think her game will really blossom. She could be a problem at the high school level once she gains experience. At 6-1, she has guard-type handles, can drop threes and is already a D1 prospect. She can guard anyone on the floor and has a soft touch at the rim.
Olivia Johnson, Limitless Elite
There is no way I would have believed she was only in the sixth grade but it was confirmed, and she is such a fantastic prospect. Her skillset was very advanced, able to handle the ball well and was a very creative player. Really has all the tools, now it is just about defining and advancing them. Will be fun to continue to follow her advanced game as she gets into high school in a few years.
Ziko Okolo, Angels Blue 2027
Another player with a very high ceiling if she continues to work on her craft and gains maturity and experience. She is long and athletic and her length makes it tough for her opponents. Still can develop her offensive game. For her it will be about adjusting to the high school game this season, and I would expect her to be able to handle it.
Yanni Smith Yanni Smith 5'7" | PG Whitney Young | 2028 IL Smith, Chicago Hoops Express
I really love her swag on the court as she should develop into a very stellar and consistent point guard with continued work. She can play in different styles including uptempo where she can push the ball and has great handles. Able to finish at the rim with a big first step which is tough of some to handle.
Hayden Fahy, Chicago Hoops Express
Hayden is a player who does a very nice job in the paint with a good runner and proficient with the ball in her hands. She has good court vision with a high motor. Able to score both from the perimeter or put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. One of the hardest workers I saw in this age group!
Sophia Rommick, Full Package Gold 2027
All this program does is produce outstanding players even with the younger group. Sophia has good court vision and a good basketball IQ as a court leader. Defensively, she will put the pressure on you and is able to play in a physical game. Has good footwork and able to finish around the rim with strong moves.
Reese Ramsey, 25 Eight Mentality 2027
I love her perimeter game, very smooth and silky jumper from the outside, she plays the game with confidence despite heading into her freshman year. She moves well and is shifty and has good body control to get to the rim and finish. Able to read the game in advance and make the big plays.
Myley Longcor, 25 Eight Mentality 2027
Very hard worker from the point guard spot, Myley has smooth handles and plays the game with a high motor, scrappy to the ball with the ability to change directions well. She has good court vision and is a solid passer, able to feed the ball inside and make the big plays.
Jolie Gudorf, Dayton Metro 2028
Part of the Vipers 2028 team who won the 2027 age group at the Finals event. Jolie has a great future ahead of her, she is a natural leader, strong physical kid who can score from both inside or out. Makes plays happen with the ball in her hands. She has quick hands which forces mistakes and she turns them into points.
Abbi Mader, Dayton Metro 2028
Abbi has a very good chance to be pretty special, and she is just getting started. She has a lot of tools, can defend any position, good size but handles the ball like a guard. Moves very well and can create shots. Shoots the three, or scores at the rim. Can’t wait to see her game at the high school level in two years.
Gracie Matheny, Indiana Flight 2027
Love her game from the point guard spot! Plays with a lot of passion and handles her position well, high basketball IQ and able to do what the defense gives her. Good fundamental skillset and can defend at a very good level. Her swag is great!!
