This organized camp is a gathering of multiple graduating classes all working together in team drills. Then 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 competition. The following is my list of standout performances by incoming freshman that will demand a second look from their high school coaches this year;
Jermera Streets-5’3″ PG, Mills H.S., Little Rock-Jermera is an athlete. Her extreme quickness got my attention. Many times during the camp she shot out like a cannon and out ran everyone to the basket. She has a good baseline of fundamentals and is very coachable. Jermera has room to grow and will get bigger and stronger. She has a very bright future.
Ava Basiliere-6’0″ P/F, Nashville H.S.-Potential! Big time! Ava has the size and strength to challenge for a varsity spot as a freshman. The Scrappers have an excellent program and Ava will fit in to keep that tradition alive. She’s a good defender, displays good footwork, and shows exceptional agility for her size.
Drew Jackson Drew Jackson 5'7" | CG Bald Knob | 2026 State AR -5’7″ SG, Bald Knob H.S.-Drew has no problem competing with much older and bigger opponents. She’s fearless. She will carry that strength through her first year in high school. She has room to get bigger and stronger. The template is there, she just needs to refine it.
Chyna Johnson-5’0″ PG, Star City H.S.-Chyna players with heart. She is an excellent and tenacious defender. Her motor is running all the time. What she lacks in size she makes up in hustle. She anticipates well and attacks the passing lane with precision. She’ll surface as a top defender at Star City this season.
Allie Vaughn Allie Vaughn 5'5" | SG Springdale | 2027 AR -5’3″ SG, Springdale H.S.-Allie is always one of the best athletes on the floor. Her strength is on the defensive end, but she moves so well without the ball, she can get open for an uncontested shot on offense. As she matures, she’ll start looking for more opportunities to score and be more effective on the offensive end.
Libby Counts Libby Counts 6'1" | PF Maumelle Charter | 2027 AR -6’1″ P/F, Maumelle Charter H.S. North Little Rock-Size! Libby has the potential to dominate in the paint. She is taking advantage of these showcase events to improve her game and it’s beginning to show. She’s just a freshman but has the capability and size to produce quality minutes for the varsity team. Continued work against bigger and stronger opposition will produce those results. Keep your eye on this young lady!
These young phenoms are destined for success in their high school careers. It’s promising to see youngsters working to get better. Thanks to the NBN Basketball Organization from Conway for creating opportunities such as the Super 60 Showcase to allow these kids to shine. Next up, 2026 standouts at this showcase event.
