Heckel is one to keep an eye on this upcoming fall. She’s a fearless and confident shooter from anywhere on the court and can beat you in a lot of different ways. Has the handle to beat you off the dribble and attack the basket, but also has high IQ to use her teammates to find high scoring opportunities. She has really worked hard on her playmaking ability during the summer for another run with LuHi that is expected to compete for the national title this year. She’s crafty on defense, being able to utilize her quickness to create fastbreak opportunities and is fearless in open space with attacking the basket equipped with the tools to make it look easy.
Umeh is one of the top post players on the summer circuit. fresh off her commitment to Stanford. Umeh has demonstrated elite skills on both ends of the floor. She is physical and dominant in paint, possesses great footwork and has nice touch around the basket. She plays with a relentless motor and loves to run the floor. She shoots the ball well and has the ability to stretch the floor with more reps, but her mid range jumper is her bread and butter and where she can do the most damage.
Highlights
If you haven’t watched Pelish on the court, then you are missing out. She’s taking her talents to the U next year but has one more season to wreak havoc on the state of NY. Pelish is a dynamic scoring in all facets. She plays physical and uses that to her advantage at every opportunity. She can blow right past you on or off the dribble while using her body to shield defenders in route to a scoring opportunity. She thrives in the big moments as a facilator making her teammates better.
Gardner is a fierce post player with a dazzling set of skills to match. Gardner has a nice all around game. She has stretch ability, great court vision and passing ability on the break and in half court sets for kickouts. She is a fierce rim protector and force on the glass on both ends. Likes to play physical, has a nice touch around the rim with her fadeaway mid range jumper.
Fox is a physical post presence. She lives in the paint doing most of her damage and has a multitude of ways to demonstrate her dominance on the offensive end. She’s an elite rebounder on both ends and loves to run the floor for an easy basket. Can stamp her presence with her rim protection and dominate on most nights when shes locked in.
