Kennedy Jackson showed off her shot from around the arc on multiple occasions. She did a nice job sliding into the openings cutting to the basket getting the pass and being ready to shoot. She was flashing to the basket getting the pass and scoring at the rim. She was making plays drawing defenders to her to pass the ball to her teammates underneath the basket to get her team some points.
Highlights
Taylor Hawley had some nice range with her shot, and she was leading the charge attacking the basket and scoring some points. You can tell how much of a leader she is for this group, too, as they look to her for the offensive and defensive sets. She seems to set the trend cutting to the basket and scoring through contact allowing her teammates to do the same.
Highlights
Samantha Shehan has one of the quickest releases on her shot, especially around the arc that no one seems to be able to close out on. Her ability to slide into the openings makes sure she gets the open look keeping her hands ready for the pass. She used her length to block shots showing a lot of hustle getting back on defense.
Highlights
Maya McCorkle was hot from deep late in a tight game for her team showing how she can make shots even under a lot of pressure. She was controlling the tempo handling the ball, and she did a nice job sliding around the perimeter to find the openings to score. She’s tough on defense, too, stripping the ball from her opponents to take the other direction.
