With 12 teams filled with Indiana preps in the classes of 2024-2026, there were plenty of strong players and standouts. With that said, this article will focus on two young ladies I felt stood out from each team (Teams #10, #11, & #12) when I was able to see them.

Team-10:

– I had seen Libby a couple of times in the confines of her high school team, but this was my first time seeing her in an environment like this. She is a fairly strong kid, with really nice length, and a solid feel for the game. She can handle it a little bit, she’s a North/South attacker, but she also has a pretty jump-shot. She can defend most ‘4s’ and bigger wings, plus she can use her strength to post smaller defends on the low-block.
Team-10:

– This was my first opportunity to see Leah in person, and she was much better than what I remember from film. She is extremely long, she’s a nice, fluid athlete, and she absorbs contact better than I expected. She was fairly aggressive off the bounce, but she also has a really nice shot from the perimeter. If she can continue to work on her strength and her handle, she can be a multilevel offensive threat difficult to match up with.
Team-11:
Bren Hill

– Bren impressed me throughout the Spring & Summer, as well as at the 250 this weekend. She is an extremely active kid who plays with a great motor. She has nice length, wiry strength, and she can play inside-out. She is much more physical than her frame might suggest, she’ll battle in the paint, and she’s a great pursuing rebounder. Offensively, she can put it on the floor a little bit, but she’ll also knock down jumpers when in rhythm.
Team-11:
Laila Mathis

– This was my first time hearing about and seeing Laila play, and I’m happy I did. She is extremely quick, fast, and explosive. She plays with a nice creativity to her game, and she uses her handle well to get defenders off-balance. She is definitely an attacker, but she does a really nice job of putting pressure on the defense and finding open teammates. Defensively, she is feisty and hounds opposing ball-handlers to the point of frustration.
Team-12:
Maren Bolser

– I saw Maren for the first time briefly in early July, so I was happy to get the chance to see her again at length yesterday. She is extremely long and wiry, she’s a nice, fluid athlete, and she is versatile. Offensively, she can consistently shoot it from outside, but she is starting to put it on the floor and attack the basket. As she gets stronger, that will only improve. Defensively, she can block shots or come out on the floor and defend wings.
Team-12:
Brynna Collins

– I have seen Brynna a number of times over the last couple of years, but this was as impressive as she’s looked. She seems leaner, still strong, but much more active and explosive in all directions. She was making as many plays defensively as she was offensively, consistently picking up steals and rebounds and getting out in transition. She is starting to change directions better off the bounce, and she also shoots a really nice ball.
