With 12 teams filled with Indiana preps in the classes of 2024-2026, there were plenty of strong players and standouts. With that said, this article will focus on two young ladies I felt stood out from each team (Teams #4, #5, & #6) when I was able to see them.

Team-4:
Lillian George

Carroll (Fort Wayne) | 2026

, 2026, 6-1 C, Carroll H.S. (Fort Wayne)
– Lillian is almost a throwback player, because she is a big, strong, physical post prospect who uses her size and strength to make an impact on games. She is a tough ball-screener for defenders to elude, she understands when and how to roll/pop, plus she has nice hands. She likes to seek contact early on the block, and she can hold her position and finish at the rim. I also like how hard she plays and rim-runs at her size.
Team-4:

– Katie might have had the best performance I saw throughout the day. She has done a tremendous job of building her skillset, moving from being more of a post a year ago to a face-up ‘4’ now. She knocked down about a half dozen 3-pointers in the game I saw, none of which looked uncomfortable or out-of-place. She put it on the floor well, defended the paint with physicality, and pursued rebounds well outside of her area.
Team-5:
Kiarra Handley

, 2025, 5-6 PG, Richmond H.S.
– I was really impressed with “KiKi’s” improvement from last year. She has always been a strong, compact, low-to-the-ground guard, but I felt like a year ago she was more of a ‘2’ than a ‘1’. At this year’s 250, she was strictly a point guard, she made much better decisions with the ball, but she also has a tighter handle and the quickness/explosiveness to make a move and get defenders off-balance. She can also really shoot it.
Team-5:
Madison Sonsini

– Greenfield-Central instantly got better with Madison’s transfer this offseason from Richmond High School. She has gotten so much stronger, now she plays more consistently at all three levels. She has always handled it well like a point forward, and she has a little touch outside, but I was impressed with her physicality and interior play at this event. She is the type of skilled, versatile forward elite small colleges are looking for.
Team-6:
Lola Fouts
Lola

5'5" | PG
Scottsburg | 2025

, 2025, 5-4 PG, Scottsburg H.S.
– Lola is a smaller but extremely long point guard at her height. She has a real smoothness to her game, plus she’s an intelligent guard who rarely makes the wrong decision with the ball. She may still grow some, but she will need to get stronger to absorb contact better, however she does look much stronger from a year ago. Additionally, her best trait might be her ability to bury shot after shot from the perimeter, though she passes it well, too.
Team-6:
Lexi Primus

North Knox | 2026
State

, 2026, 5-8 G/W, North Knox H.S.
– Lexi is a long, wiry-strong, athletic guard. She can run and jump with most girls her age, but she also does a lot of nice things skillfully. She might not be elite at any one thing, but she is well-balanced and contributes in all sorts of ways. She can get to the basket and score the ball, she can find teammates in positions to score, and she can knock down an open rhythm jumper. I also like her tenacity and versatility at the defensive end.
