Over the past couple of years, Harpeth Hall has been gaining momentum and inserting themselves into the conversation of being one of the top schools in the league. Coach Amy Josephson brings an incredible pedigree to the table. These Lady Bears tend to match the same intensity as their coach. Talk about being tenacious, these Lady Bears are gym rats, always hungry for more.
Formerly known as the Honey Bears, the school dropped the honey and now they are known as just Bears. These young ladies are fierce competitors and they get after it every time they step on the court. Skilled, disciplined, playing the game with passion, these young ladies who don the Bears jerseys are tough. Behind great leadership, these girls show up and show out. They are masters of the little things, wearing you down by executing their Xs and Os. They are gritty, spicy, and can shoot the rock.
The squad looks to build upon the momentum set by last year’s club. They went 23-5 last year, making it to the state’s final 4. With returning starters coming back and a few newbies who will be contributing, look for these Bears to return back and contend for state.
Here are some Harpeth Hall Bears to keep an eye on.
Charlotte Myers Charlotte Myers 5'9" | SG Harpeth Hall | 2024 State TN (5’9/Sr./PG)– Smart heady player. A multi- sport athlete who possesses quick instincts plus more. She has quick hands and quick feet, enabling her to be shifty with the ball in her hands. She can shoot lights out from the arc, but won’t hesitate to exploit a defense as she finds holes as she attacks. Delivers the ball with ease, has incredible court vision, can handle the rock. Fierce competitor who plays the game with grit. Tenacious defender, she creates chaos that leads to transitional buckets. Overall, a well-rounded prospect who can give opponents fits.

(6’1/Jr./F)– Definitely an impact player. She is the X factor for this Lady Bears attack. Long and rangy, she can shoot the rock from all 3 levels. She can beat an opponent attacking from the arc or use her size inside. Nice release, can consistently knock shots down from 15 ft and in. She’s an enforcer on the defensive end, blocking shots and grabbing boards. She can defend both bigs and smaller guards. Had a tremendous summer, gaining the eyes of division 1 coaches near and far. Stays in the gym, working on and adding to her craft. Skies are the limit for this prospect. She’s a smart kid whose stock is only going to rise. Look for her to push the issue and be not only one of the top players in DII-AA, but one of the top players in the state.
