Some of these players played major roles as Freshman and were put in position to lead their teams with no high school experience. Some of these players were allowed to just be Freshman and make contributions wherever they could. In this article, we hilight these hidden “gems” on the First Coast of Florida. Each of these players is poised to increase their exposure and have a special Sophomore campaign.
Audrey Beyer Audrey Beyer 5'10" | SG Tocoi Creek | 2026 State FL one of the best players in the 2026 class. Beyer is a big-time prospect who can do a lot on a basketball court, Beyer can really shoot the rock, but over the summer she showed a whole lot more. Beyer got to the rim off the dribble and also made great cuts to the rim. Beyer knocked down 27 threes in her freshman season. Beyer she can also get to the rim and that’s where you see the change in her game from her freshman year to her sophomore year.
Anni Ament Anni Ament 5'10" | SF Beachside | 2026 State FL is one of the most talented Sophomores on the First Coast and ament is poised to have a great Sophomore season. Ament can shoot it from anywhere on the court, she can handle the rock, play defense, rebound the ball, and run the floor. Ament is poised to have a very impactful season and she is going to have a lot of help with the new additions of Madilyn Ray Madilyn Ray 6'2" | C Beachside | 2026 State FL and Kendall Kane Kendall Kane 6'0" | SF Beachside | 2025 State FL . These additions will showcase Ament’s game even more, especially in the playmaking department.
Angel Mclellon Angel Mclellon 5'5" | PG St. Augustine | 2026 State FL is a quick guard who can score at all levels of the floor. She does a good job of running the offense and plays with a lot of quickness and speed. McLellon embraced the point guard role over the summer and really stood out as a playmaker. Her speed creates for herself, but it also creates scoring opportunities for her teammates.
Jordan Francis Jordan Francis 5'10" | C Mandarin | 2026 State FL has the potential to have big year. She is a raw talent and played well in the summer. She has good size and draws attention in the paint. Francis had a good output during summer ball and showed she can score the ball on the inside. Francis did a good job of defending the post and also rebounded the ball very well.
Terrell McCoy Terrell McCoy 6'0" | PF Bolles | 2026 State FL makes her debut on the First Coast this season. McCoy played well during the summer live period and was a dominant player on the inside. She will give Bolles an inside presence in the paint and open up those outside weapons even more.
Miranda Campos Miranda Campos 5'10" | SF Bartram | 2026 State FL is one of the most athletic players on the First Coast and will be a hard player to defend in the paint. Campos is very athletic, and she is settling in as a consistent playmaker in the paint. Campos can score inside, and she is also a specialist on the offensive rebound. Campos is poised to have a special season and could average a double-double this upcoming season.
Morgan Cremen Morgan Cremen 5'8" | PG Beachside | 2026 State FL is a very good point guard who can do it all. She is a selfless player who can score the ball, but looks to make plays for her team. Cremen can score the ball and score in bunches. She is a natural leader on the basketball court.
Olivia Gamble Olivia Gamble 5'4" | SG Mandarin HS | 2026 State FL made a lot of positive strides this past summer and really showed that she can shoot the three-ball. Gamble also played well at the Flagler basketball camp. Her confidence is taking off and Gamble is poised for a nice Sophomore campaign.
Mariah Young Mariah Young 5'4" | PG Orange Park | 2026 State FL is looking to make a big impact at Orange Park this season and she will be a big help at the 2-guard position but will also contribute at the point guard d position. Young is an aggressive player and can get the ball to the rim. she is also a solid defender and does a a good jo of applying pressure on the ball.
