So many fall into this category because of their sheer ability on the floor, their playmaking skillset, their leadership qualities and more. With Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey's updated 2025 rankings out, now is the perfect time to analyze. She's just an incredible player to watch, an incredible playmaker with so many intangibles that you just can't fit it into one conversation. It's crazy how much of a carbon copy one is from the other, playing with a high basketball IQ for a junior and someone who is college-ready already, probably someone who has been college ready since the beginning of her sophomore high school season, if not sooner. Mya has some more room to work with up top and is destined for a spectacular junior year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 3: [player_tooltip player_id='333309' first='Daniella' last='Matus'] - St. John Vianney (No. 3 overall)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's wild how the top three players in New Jersey's 2025 rankings all fit under the combo guard category as we head to the newest centerpiece for St. John Vianney, [player_tooltip player_id='333309' first='Daniella' last='Matus']. As Pauldo will benefit from Matus's transfer, Matus will benefit from being part of a new team, the best team in New Jersey in recent years, and she'll immediately be running the show. McCracken is probably best known for her perimeter shooting...and for good reason because very few have been as prolific as her in two high school seasons. She's nearly hit three a game in 57 games played, plus easily averaging 20 points a game and 4.4 steals a game as a sophomore.
