Here are some names to watch from weeks 2 and 3 of the high school season. She finishes at a high level in the paint, using her 6-foot-1 frame and strength to score through contact. Her patience is impressive, as she uses pump fakes to draw fouls or let defenders fly by, and she also shows a solid handle for her size, attacking the rim when lanes open.

Aaralun put together an impressive all-around outing with 24 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, even in a tough loss. She has a lightning-quick first step that allows her to get to the rim, pull up in the midrange, and draw contact while finishing through it. Defenses are stuck in a bind guarding her, as she can blow by tight coverage or confidently knock down shots when defenders give her space.

Camila has been a driving force behind her team's undefeated 6–0 start. She leads by example, sacrificing her body on the defensive end and always looking to make the extra pass to create open looks for teammates. An elite ball handler, she is especially dangerous in the open court, where once she gains a step on the fast break, defenders have little chance of catching her.

Lily is off to a hot start, averaging nearly 16 points per game and consistently putting pressure on defenses. She is extremely decisive with the ball, often making an immediate move off the catch to get past defenders. A crafty finisher in the paint, she also stretches the floor with her three-point shooting, needing very little space to get her shot off and knock it down.

Delaney has been dominant through the first three games of the season, averaging 21 points and 13 rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from beyond the arc. Her three-point shot is nearly automatic, but she is just as effective stepping into balanced midrange looks. She also does a great job attacking the paint, drawing contact, and getting to the free-throw line, while showing a smooth floater when help defenders step up.
