Ellie was unconscious against Hillgrove II, draining 7 threes en route to 23 points. Peterson was automatic when she had a glimmer of space. Her sharpshooting vaulted her into the lead for made three-pointers with 10 through four games.
Woodstock had no answers for Aeris in the paint as she vacuumed up rebounds and scored on multiple putbacks, finishing with 12 points, 14 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block.
Hadiya outscored East Paulding in Hiram’s 32-10 win, posting 21 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Kennerly was tough to keep away from the basket, slashing to the rim for layups. Hadiya places third in the league in scoring at 14.7 points per game.
Andrews has been heating up as the season has worn on. The versatile wing put up 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block against Alexander.
After missing last week due to a visit to Richmond, Pearl’s return was welcome, piling in 19 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 3 steals in a 47-36 win over Creekside. Sophia sits in second-place in points per game (16.0) and threes made (9).
Highlights
The league leader in points per game put on a show against the defending Class 6A champs, dumping in 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Dennis averages 19 points per game as a freshman.
