C’India is a dynamic lead guard who combines a high-level basketball IQ with elite scoring and playmaking ability. She understands how to control the pace, create quality opportunities, and recognize what her team needs in different situations. She is capable of generating offense for herself, but her ability to elevate the players around her may be her most valuable quality. Her command of the game and overall backcourt presence make her a player Creekside can trust to run the show.

Dennis was the highest ranked player from Georgia, coming in at number 54. Cece should be close to coming back from the knee injury she suffered in the first game of last season for Creekside versus Sandy Creek. There is no question she was playing the best basketball of her career at the time that I had seen her play. Fast forward ten months later (normal timeline for ACL injuries) and she should be ready to go when the season starts or close to it if the videos she posts about her rehabilitation are any indication. This week Dennis narrowed her list to five schools and has set official visits to each of her finalists. I have no insider knowledge, but she seems to be a big priority for the new staff at UGA. She is visiting the home state Bulldogs as I write this article for the weekend. Her other finalists include the University of Tennessee (visit Sept. 4-6), Clemson (visit Sept. 18-20), Auburn (visit Sept. 25-27), and the Florida State Seminoles (visit Oct. 2-4). With her five official visits coming before the start of play in her senior season, I think it is safe to assume that she will make a decision around that time.

A cerebral guard with a tight handle and elite feel for the game, Dennis scores from all three levels while directing the offense with sharp vision. She embraces contact and finishes tough shots despite her smaller frame. Her IQ, passing ability, and ability to elevate those around her set her apart as a true floor general.

It might not have been her absolute best performance but Cece was still the best player on the floor against Maynard Jackson, collecting 22 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals as Creekside polished off a perfect season, winning 57-37. Dennis draws so much attention with the ball in her hands. She sees the floor exceptionally well, creating for others.

Though she fouled out at the 3:50 mark, Dennis dumped in 32 points in a marvelous display. Cece got to her spots in the mid-range, netted threes from distance but also used Marist’s attention to stop her against them, lasering in assists through the defense to open teammates at the rim. In a battle of two should-be five-star recruits, Dennis dazzled.

Super sophomore averaged 24.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 4.5 steals per game to put Creekside on the map as a contender in Georgia.

Dennis is a player that has all kinds of moves in her bag. When you take one thing away, she wows you with her ability to slash through the defense and score at will. Complete 2-way player that keeps the defense on their heels the whole game. Gamechanger.
