Sophia was a main attraction on Sunday, a key reason why multiple D-I programs showed out in full force to scout. With just five players and at one point having to play 5 on 4, River Ridge ran out of gas seeing a 12-point lead evaporate into a 45-43 loss to New Manchester, a late three doing in the shorthanded Knights. Playing with one other starter, two JV players and an eighth grader, Pearl did the heavy lifting with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. Her ability to carry a team offensively has been one of her most impressive areas of growth, stepping into the lead guard position with Mataya Gayle now at Penn. Pearl hit pull-up threes and used her shiftiness to get into the lane. With the deck stacked against her, Sophia nearly pulled off a magic trick with an improbable win. D-II and D-I schools in attendance got to see why Pearl is one of 2025’s very best.
Highlights
Abbey has heated up as the season has gone on. She did a little bit of everything against Alexander, knocking down threes, getting to the hoop, rebounding, facilitating and defending. Bensman piled up 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals and 1 block.
White had a career day in a 47-27 loss to North Cobb. Her offensive explosion included 19 points, hitting rain drop floaters and high arcing jumpers. The sophomore has been a bright spot for the Raiders during their rebuild.
Slick Sloane Vick Sloane Vick 5’9″ | SG Harrison | 2025 State GA harassed an undermanned Woodstock team. Vick compiled 17 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and 8 steals as Harrison cruised 45-28. With Lander, West Georgia and Augusta on hand, it was a positive performance that could put her firmly on college radars.
You never have to worry about Madison Swint Madison Swint 5’9″ | PF Carrollton | 2025 State GA ‘s compete level. In a 42-34 loss to North Paulding, Swint banged for 11 points and 11 rebounds. Her physicality and understanding of how to use her body allows her to be successful against larger players.
Skye let it rip with her three-point shot, knocking down three long balls in a 46-43 OT win over Hillgrove I. Cleveland finished with 15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. She’s a sneaky good prospect with 3&D capabilities. D-II schools could jump in soon.
