Top 250 EXPO: Team 4 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sunday September 3rd I attended the Arizona&nbsp;<strong>TOP 250 EXPO&nbsp;</strong>at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I watched all five teams play twice and this is how they performed when they were on the main court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here are the Team 4 Standouts:</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751708' first='Neha' last='Patel'] Paradise Valley&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A pure point guard plays from the neck up. She is a good passer with speed with the ball. She is quick to blow past her defenders to the basket. She is a good FT shooter who can hit the three and has quick hands on defense.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='754670' first='London' last='Richardson'] Buena</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A shooting guard from Tucson can score it from all levels. She can take it coast to coast off a rebound, uses the floater well and has a smooth looking three point release with deeper range. She also knows how to changes speeds and get into the paint.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='530986' first='Kylie' last='Rarrick'] Sunnyslope</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A combo guard was one of the pure shooters of the showcase. She can catch and shoot from the three point line with huge confidence. She can handle it decently but is most likely a specialist for the next level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='754596' first='Mia' last='Brown'] Horizon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A pure point guard is almost an old school player. She is always looking up with good vision up the court. She is a good ball handler and makes the easy passes to dime her teammates. She can hit the three off the catch and will collect steals with quicker hands.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='754708' first='Azalee' last='Alvarado-Tellez'] Canyon View</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A combo guard can score and make plays. She can use the euro move to the rim and is a good ball handler. She rebounds well for a guard and is a confident passer in traffic. She can throw open players with good awareness.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='558928' first='Isabella' last='Webb'] Mica Mountain</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another stock riser was Webb. She is a strong combo guard who will get downhill with her stronger frame. She handles it well and is very confident and won't back down to anyone. She consistently scores thru contact and has a big motor to compete.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='755556' first='Jensen' last='Cowart'] Mesquite</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A good sized freshman power forward with a good base. She rebounds well in her area and has skill to score. She can go coast to coast with a nice handle for position. She can shoot it from mid-range and has advanced post footwork plus can spin off her defender.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='755558' first='<strong>Leila </strong>' last='<strong>O'Dowd</strong>'<strong> </strong>]</strong> Rincon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A face-up five with skill and strength. The Tucson product is a good one. She has quick post moves and will score thru contact after she drives the lane with a good handle. She can also shoot it to three point line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='530983' first='Erica' last='McGadney'] Saguaro (Pictured) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top five or so performers at the showcase. She did mostly anything she wanted to. She can hit the catch three and has the ability to grab the rebound and take it coast to coast. She has long arms and moves well in space but will also block shots in the paint. Stock up! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
