Leiava Holliman Leiava Holliman 5'6" | CG Grandview | 2025 State CO – Grandview – 2025
The guard was highly impactful off the ball, finding ways to fill space and be a threat at all times. Effective spacing the floor, Holliman knocked down a few threes on the day, largely on spot-up attempts. Another aspect of her impact came from movement, particularly off-ball. She did well getting to back cuts while her defender was ball watching, attacking the rim most often on these attempts.
Olivia Klein – Resurrection Christian – 2025
Klein demonstrated value as a versatile offensive weapon along the perimeter. The guard was active getting downhill into the paint, finding a variety of ways to score around contests. Effective finishing layups with either hand or getting to her short floater, opponents had to stay honest in Klein’s presence. The guard was well rounded, capable of knocking down perimeter jumpers off the catch.
Karson Chaney Karson Chaney 5'7" | CG Cherokee Trail | 2026 State CO – Cherokee Trail – 2026
Chaney possesses a wide reach while handling the ball, capable of creating a lot of space in two dribbles. While attacking downhill, she consistently keeps her eyes up for the next passing opportunity, especially effective hitting dump off passes once weak side help arrives. Her wide reach allows her to guard multiple positions, certainly both backcourt options and smaller forwards. Chaney grabbed multiple steals per game, plenty of which were at the point of attack from reach-ins. She has continued to embrace her shooting ability beyond the arc, knocking down a few threes off the catch.
Addison Lesage Addison Lesage 5'5" | SG Legend | 2026 State CO – Legend – 2026
LeSage brought value as a versatile perimeter shotmaker, capable flowing off of self-created moves into long jumpers. Thanks to her gravity as a perimeter shooter, she can leverage her skillset to at the rim off of ball screens. Out of those ball screens, LeSage was active hitting teammates on the roll or getting to her jump stop for a kickout pass. Bright future ahead for the sophomore guard out of Legend.
Kaity Driskell Kaity Driskell 5'7" Doherty | 2025 CO – Doherty – 2025
Driskell was an active passer in the half court, quickly moving the ball to get the opposing defense out of position. She brought active hands on defense, staying active to deflect opposing passes.
Gianna Wurth Gianna Wurth 5'9" | SF Mead | 2024 State CO – Mead – 2024
Wurth was active attacking the rim, equally effective grabbing fouls around the rim. The guard had no trouble initiating contact, setting a strong base while going up for her attempts.
Dessirae Ulmer – Fountain-Fort Carson – 2024
Ulmer was an impactful rebounder, boasting good strength at her position. The offensive glass was a clear strength of hers, active attacking the rim for putbacks and using her strength to move away opponents. Her upside as a post scorer cannot be overlooked, capable backing down forwards and wings for right hand finishes at the rim. Her continued progression as a left hand scorer and mid-range shotmaker will be valuable for her impact at the next level.
Ezra Simonich Ezra Simonich 5'10" | SG Highlands Ranch | 2025 State CO – Highlands Ranch – 2025
Simonich was among the most impactful prospects at this event, effective from all three levels while versatile on defense. Capable attacking the rim with either hand, the guard was consistent finishing through contests or drawing contact at the basket for free throws. Her quick jump shot forced opposing defenses to cover her out to the perimeter, allowing for ample opportunities to attack the lane. If needed to be a perimeter shooter, Simonich stepped up to the opportunity, either on spot-ups or or stepping into those jumpers. Defensively, she was valuable defending the basket against opposing guards, capable getting up to swat away layup attempts.
