In a class loaded with very good guard play, here I take a look at some of the best passers in the 2025 classes.
Dylan Swindle Dylan Swindle 5'6" | PG Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ Desert Vista
Swindle is the prototypical point guard in that she’s always looking to set up her teammates before looking for her own shot. She really excels in pick-and-roll situations. She sees the whole floor and can hit teammates close or far.
Aila Kaibara Aila Kaibara 5'8" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ Phoenix Country Day
Kaibara is a crafty guard who is a better passer than what people think due to her scoring abilities. She can pass with either hand and has a nice hesitation move to freeze the defense.
Isabella Ivy Isabella Ivy 5'6" | PG Perry | 2025 State AZ Perry (Featured Image)
A confident pass-first point guard, Ivy can hit teammates standing still or on the go equally as well. Like every good point guard, she always has her head up, looking to hit a cutting teammate.
Sophie Morales Sophie Morales 5'4" | PG Seton Catholic | 2025 State AZ Seton Catholic
One of the more exciting passers in the AIA, Morales is guaranteed to give you at least one or two oohs and ahhs every game. She is not afraid to thread the needle at any time. She sees people open even when they don’t know they’re open.
Savannah Helms Savannah Helms 5'5" | PG Sandra Day O'Connor | 2025 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
Helms is the type of guard who would rather have double-digit assists instead of double-digit points. She puts defenses to sleep with her ball handling and then hits them with crisp no-look passes. She’s another one that you’ll see on highlight reels due to her passing ability.
