Milan has easily been the league’s MVP so far, leading the league in scoring. She has scored at will in almost every game, no matter what defenses teams have thrown at her. She’s probably the most athletic player in the league and she has been using that to her advantage. Her perimeter has improved so that is no longer a weakness teams can key on. The D1 offers have started to pour in, including some Ivy League action for the future lawyer.
Kiki has been one of the top scorers in the league and she exploded for 25 points this past weekend. She is a long guard with deep range on her shot and an explosive first step. She made some ridiculous shots over defenders and got into the paint at will in her last game. She’s also a very active defender and has a high motor. She’s very competitive and fun to watch. She has transferred from Annapolis to Rosedale Christian Academy.
Chloe has been one of the top shooters in the league. Her quick release makes her hard to guard and opponents have found that out. She’s not just a long ball shooter either, as she can make shots from all over the court. She has a strong handle and good upper body strength, which she uses well to get her shots off. I like her defense too as she can guard multiple positions.
Alia used her length and footwork well on defense in the latest game. She was in the right spots and disrupted ball handlers on multiple occasions. On offensive she showed the ability to slash and finished around the basket.
Arianna has been playing with a lot of confidence and looks ready to take a big jump to the next level this season. She’s been knocking down her shots from distance and putting the ball on the floor and finishing with authority. She has also handled some point guard duty and looked comfortable in that role. She’s a very competitive player and does not shy away from contact and physical play.
