AZ Girls Report Rising Stars Camp: Standouts Pt. 4

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On October 8th, I attended the AZ Girls Report <strong>Rising Stars Camp</strong> presented by<em> Ron Coleman</em>. <br><br><strong>Here, I take a look at more of the standouts from this event.</strong><br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='788272' first='Juliet' last='Botiller'] <strong>Bourgade Catholic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Botiller had very active hands with her on the ball defense. On offense she showed the ability to score the ball in a few ways including a nice floater game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='788283' first='Kiria' last='Avila Escarcega'] <strong>Buckeye</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kiria is a nice guard that showed good vision and passing ability. She's a good ball handler with a good feel for the game and anticipates well where her teammates are on the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='659956' first='Cabot' last='Hamilton'] <strong>Campo Verde (Featured Image)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cabot is a good-looking freshman prospect that didn't back down from the competition. She showed good form on her outside shot and battled well for rebounds on both ends. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='788467' first='Amya' last='Malone'] <strong>Dobson</strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Malone is a nice shooting guard prospect that performed well. She handled the ball and made some very good passes. She filled the lanes well looking for opportunities to score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='788468' first='Diamond' last='Stevenson'] <strong>Deer Valley</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stevenson was possibly the most athletic person at the event. She was disruptive on defense with active hands and blocked multiple shots. On offense she got out in transition with a quick burst and often crashed the offensive glass. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='788466' first='Jayci' last='Nelson'] <strong>Salpointe Catholic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nelson is a nice point guard prospect who understands the game and how to play. She used the pick and roll well on offense and displayed the ability to pass with either hand. She played very good on the ball defense and did a good job of making the player she was guarding uncomfortable. <br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
