Faith Walder Faith Walder 5'5" | PG West De Pere | 2025 State WI
If it weren’t for an unlucky injury going into July, Walder would not be a name that could blow up over the next 12 months because she’d likely have a few D2 offers. However, I don’t know many lead guards in her class I’d rather have running an offense. She’s so press-resistant that she makes playing full-court presses against her a liability, no matter who you throw in front of her. Walder shows her “off-hand,” finishing at the rim every game. She’s in for a big season at West De Pere this season.
Adahlyn Hoerl Adahlyn Hoerl 5'10" | CG Chilton WI | 2025 State WI
I love the versatility that Hoerl has in her game. No matter where you slot her role-wise, she makes your team better because she can handle the ball under pressure, battle through contact, and finish around the rim. Watching her attack off the bounce makes me think Hoerl’s comfortable playing as a wing and has the size to guard up and physically handle defending some taller post players. Now that she has experience being the focal point at Chilton, she’ll have an excellent junior season.
Olivia Witkowski Olivia Witkowski 6'0" | PF Weyawega-Freemont | 2025 State WI
People should take time this coming AAU season to see Witkowski. She may be the best-kept secret in Wisconsin’s 2025 class. The Weyawega-Fremont forward is an elite rim protector and reads the game well on the defensive end. Although she’s not at the most competitive school, she does an excellent job playing hard and making the most out of her situation. I also loved that she’s been adding to her game and trying new things because she’s allowed to expand her game to try and help her team win games. I thought she looked solid as she extended her range beyond the three-point line, and she should be more comfortable shooting in her junior season. Watch her next summer, if you can, with her Wisconsin Blizzard group.
Mimi Hart
Over the past year, Hart has shown that her shooting is legit and here to stay. Early on, I remember thinking she got off to an excellent start at Cedarburg last season, but I didn’t believe it was a permanent aspect to her game. However, Hart kept shooting the leather off the ball to the point earned a spot in the three-point shooting contest at the state tournament. That form continued into the AAU season, and she hasn’t stopped making shots. Hart’s made me a believer in her game, and I’m eager to see what else she can do now that her point guard, Reagan Pahl, isn’t there.
