The Class of 2024 is getting ready to begin the last Winter of their high school careers, as teams are two weeks away from their first official practices for the 2023-2024 season. Last week, we released our updated rankings for 2024. We did not expand the list at all, so there is still a Top-100 and a watch list of another 125 prospects, forming a total of 225 members of the Class of 2024 listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. This quarter is more of a maintenance update heading into the high school season, but we will expand the list one final time around Christmas. Below, I wanted to highlight all of the small forwards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as highlight a handful of ladies who stood out throughout the Summer and early Fall.

SUMMER/FALL STOCK-RISERS & ANY NEWCOMERS:

– Isyss is somewhat under the radar, but she is a highly productive wing who can fill it up at the offensive end of the floor. She has a strong, physical frame, she loves to attack off the bounce, but she also has deceptive quickness and is able to change directions to get to the rim. She has good vision and can create for others, plus she can knock down the occasional perimeter jumper. Look for her to make an immediate impact at Warren Central.

– I commented on Keylee shortly after the live periods in July, but she looked a bit leaner and much more explosive in all directions throughout the grassroots season. She has always been good with the ball, she can make plays for others, and she can either get to the rim with her North/South ability or knock down an open rhythm jumper. She has also become much better defensively and shown a greater urgency at that end of the floor.

– I saw Madison for the first time earlier this Fall, and she is definitely a very intriguing wing prospect. She has tremendous length, fluid athleticism, and she possesses a great deal of skill. She has nice shooting mechanics, a consistent perimeter jumper, plus she’s able to glide to the rim off the bounce. She can act as a point forward in transition, and she can initiate the offense. As she continues to get stronger, she’ll be even more consistent.

, 2024, 5-8 SF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S.
– I’ve mentioned this before, but Ciara was outstanding with her school team in June and during the grassroots portion of July. She is a long, wiry-strong athlete with speed, quickness, and some bounce to her. She plays with an outstanding motor, and she doesn’t seem to do many things outside of her capabilities. She can knock down an open jumper, but she’s much better attacking the basket and using her athleticism.
Juztice Slick

, 2024, 5-9 SF, Northeastern H.S.
– Juztice is another prospect I became more familiar with this Fall, and she’s someone I can see continuing to develop throughout her college career. She has a long, wiry-strong, athletic frame, she is a nice athlete in most directions, and she plays with a motor. She looks like she was more of an interior player growing up, because she rebounds and defends inside well, but now she’s much more comfortable and skilled around the perimeter.
