TEAM 1 :
Katelynn Ho Katelynn Ho 5'4" Tomball Memorial | 2025 TX -5’4 G (Tomball Memorial) 3T [2025]
Ho is heady and plays within herself so watching her understand how to not only control the tempo but handle the ball under pressure was nice. She set the defender up to attack the basket using a deceptive first step, she finished using nice body control but she also dished off the dribble. Her court vision was also good in the set, she dropped the pull-up jumper and did a good job defensively
Madison Bush-Lewis Madison Bush-Lewis 5'5" | PG ALIEF Taylor | 2025 State TX see evaluation here
Haylee Rivers Haylee Rivers 5'7" Manor | 2025 TX see evaluation here
Jayla Jackson Jayla Jackson 5'9" Mineola | 2025 TX -5’9 G (Mineola) Truth Platinum Elite [2025]
Jackson is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends and her defense immediately grabbed my attention as she applied heat both in the set as well as the full court. She also saw the floor in the open court and made good decisions yet her court vision in the set, especially off the dribble was nice. She scored attacking the basket after contact but she also dropped the jumper from outside and her “catch and shoot” was nice
Lexie Morgan Lexie Morgan 5'7" | PG Marshall Christian | 2025 TX -5’7 G (Christian Heritage School) Platinum Basketball-ETX [2025]
Morgan is a “long and athletic” guard which falls under “the base” and is one of the profiles I enjoy evaluating for a number of reasons so her “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline as well as playing the passing lane were a couple of intangibles that stood out because both created turnovers which led to scoring opportunities. She also attacked and finished strongly after contact, with solid body control on her finishes
Reagan Koller Reagan Koller 5'7" Joshua | 2025 TX -5’7 G (Joshua) DFW Hawks [2025]
Koller plays taller than her listed height, let me drop a #THROWBACK for that alone. She understands positioning and outrebounded taller players yet she also scored in the paint over taller players. She attacked from multiple angles to score, pull-up jumper was nice, especially watching her drop it with a hand in her face from midrange, but her court vision was also solid, along with her defense
TEAM 2:
Cassidy Gladney see evaluation here
Nevaeh Gray Nevaeh Gray 5'6" | C Flour Bluff | 2024 TX -5’6 G (Flour Bluff) SA Lady Hoops Diamonds [2024]
Gray mixed it up offensively smoothly and watching her set the defender up to attack and score from multiple spots on the court was nice. She has good body control and even created contact while attacking the basket yet she finished after the lick as well. She created her shot under pressure and knocked down the pull-up jumper, she hit the boards and handled the ball afterward and she played strong defense
Kayla Rodriguez Kayla Rodriguez 5'8" San Benito | 2025 TX -5’8 G (San Benito) San Benito Select & RGV Lakers [2025]
Rodriguez also did a good job of not only attacking the basket and finishing strongly but creating contact along the way. She handled the ball under pressure and saw the floor both in the set as well as in transition. She was another player who understood how to get positioning under the basket which helped her rebound on both ends and she dropped the jumper from midrange
