Marissa Rimbert | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Sitting at #42 on PGH class of 2025 rankings, Manuel is showing why she is climbing up the rankings in September Fall Ball play. She uses acrobatic finishes while playing under control to showcase her stocky and powerful physique. Using her strength to attack she draws contact and gets to the line. Paired with her strength, she has the lens to attack the gaps well and find windows to take steps to get by defenders. Finishes with both hands.

Manuel helped set it off at the PGH 250 Expo which earned her a spot on the Top 100 for her class and after watching her bring that same mindset to her school team she showed me another side of her impressive game. Yes, her “on the ball” defense can be smothering baseline to baseline as well as in the set but watching her outrebound taller players as well as score on them around the basket had me smiling. The midrange looks good, she creates and drops it under pressure and she also scores off the dribble, solid body control enables her to finish after contact and her court vision is a huge plus as well

Manuel almost had defenders needing a manual to try and guard her and as well as I have seen her play in the past, she does what I love to see in players and that’s “seize the opportunity” which will have her added to the next update. She also went after the ball off the rim, in the air and on the floor, her on the ball defense and quick hands created turnovers yet after the steal, she handled the ball effortlessly to score or dish. Her slight HEZ off the dribble was nice, so was her spin move as it created points and her pull-up jumper and court vision were both nice
