they have a high D2/low D1. Their top four is one of the best collections of talent of any TN public school team in recent history.
But, basketball teams play 5 kids. And another 2-3 kids will come off the bench. And God forbid an injury, there will be another player or two from Bradley’s roster have to step up and give big minutes. So, let’s get to know those kids.

If not coming off an injury, Phillips wwould likely be the 5th starter, and the 5th player in Bradley’s starting lineup to be a college player (as she recently picked up an offer from Covenant). Phillips hasn’t seen a whole lot of court time in her career, but after 3 years of competing against Sloan Carpenter everyday in practice, she’ll be ready to compete. Like all Bearettes, she plays hard, competes on D, limits her turnovers, and has become a quality outside shooter. She’s worked her tail off for the past 3 years, and has earned this spot in the rotation. High character kid with a great work ethic. She’s a steal for Covenant.
Howard has nice athleticism and great defensive instincts. She’s at her best attacking the rim, or getting out in transition. Can be a smothering on the ball defender, which Coach Reuter loves. Will need to be able to knock down shots from 3 to earn quality minutes. Will compete for the 6th/7th spots.
Osborne is a very strong guard with nice ball control, and the athleticism to attack the rim and get down hill. She’s another guard (like Howard) that’s at her best attacking the rim. She had a great summer for ETA Thunder ’25 and will compete for the 6th/7th man spot. Reuter is going to want a shooter that D’s can’t help off of, so Osborne too will need to hit shots to get heavy minutes. Lots of potential in this kid if she earns the job.
Highlights

Addie Geren
Addie Geren
Gerren is a play that I really like with this squad, and I could see her earning a big role. Not super athletic, but a highly skilled, high IQ kid with a strong build and nice instincts. I coached her some in AAU in middle school, and she was incredibly diverse in the positions she could play. When I’ve seen her playing JV, she’s shown the same skills. As a wing, she can contribute across the board statistically. She might be the best shooting option off the bench, and that gives her a chance to earn a big role.

Malia Wilcox
Malia Wilcox
I’ve heard that you expect Wilcox to win the 5th starter spot. She’s had a great offseason, and is primed for a bit of a breakout. Really athletic guard, with a nice frame, strong shoulders, does the little things really well, ultra competitive, and can be disruptive defensively. At her best using her athleticism to get the rim and is a high level finisher. Nice handles. It will be interesting to see how she responds to winning this job.

Makayla Broome
Makayla Broome
Broome might be the best big off the bench. She doesn’t have ideal size, but she is a nice finisher, has good footwork, highly competitive, and a good rebounder. Constantly battling inside for position. Nice face up game out to 15ft. Really solid player, and a good prospect down the road.

are ’27 twins. They are both 3pt specialists, and are really solid prospects to have down the road to surround Fields with when she’s a senior. They won’t see time in games this year, but having high quality players to compete in practice is important.
