Gaston has a great mid-range game and feels very comfortable extending her game to the 3-point line at times. Kayla is a shot-maker from the floor and really looks to extend the defense with her ability to make shots. Gaston is back for the Lady Red Raiders this season to provide some much-needed senior leadership. Could she have a breakout season? Kayla started her career at Hillcrest HS before making the move over to Greenville HS.
Hoffman is back for the Lady Panthers this coming in Class 5A. Madison tends to play her best basketball off the ball. Hoffman will provide some much-needed leadership to the Lady Panthers roster this coming season.
Gramblin had a strong showing recently at the SCBCA Elite Camp in North Charleston. Olivia understands her position down on the block and delivering results close to the bucket. She plays with a relentless attitude on the glass and really looks to score the ball on putbacks around the bucket. Olivia has a nice set of hands to catch anything thrown in her direction. Prep Girls Hoops is looking for her to improve on her stats from a year ago for the Lady Green Wave.
White made the move over to West Florence HS this off season after playing at nearby Wilson HS. Gabby is a post player who really doesn’t mind playing physical down low on the block. Cook will have a new coach and a new roster around her this season at Legion Collegiate. She will receive her minutes down low in the paint. Brianna will work from side to side with her back to the basket posting up. The Lady Lancers will lean on some strong guard and perimeter play this season. She brings a blue-collar attitude to the floor and mindset.
KeAsia brings hustle to the floor a typical staple of a player from Loris HS. Smith is undersized post player who really looks to crash the glass every time. KeAsia is not very polished yet with her play, but she surely makes up for it with her effort. She will do the little things for the Lady Lions to be successful on the floor.
Highlights
Bulford likes to play her game from around the mid-range area. She moves well without the ball and looks to stay active on the floor. Marissa will look to knockdown the short jumper from time to time.
