Bradley made the jump this time around up to #19 in the current rankings after being #41. Norriyah really can keep the ball on the string at times on the way to the cup. She slashes to the basket and finds the open teammate along the way. Norriyah plays her best basketball while in attack mode.
Bradley will race by defenders in the open floor and touches the paint very easily. She brings a swarm the ball type of mentality to the defensive side of the ball.
Highlights
Givens keeps moving up this time #33 after being #39 previously. Jayda plays the game with a fierce competitive attitude at all times. She looks to score a lot of her buckets near the cup and just simply on overall effort. Jayda likes to play the game as a driver on the floor. She plays bigger than her listed height and certainly won’t backdown from anyone.
Jayda is a key piece to this very talented Lady Stallions roster this season.
Page does a bit of everything for her Lady Wild Gators squad. She might play a bit off the grid over near the North Carolina border at Lake View HS in Dillon County. Gwendasia will drop a nice cross-over move on a defender on her way to the bucket. Page plays the game as a slasher-driver on the floor but on occasion will drop the 3-ball.
She really stuffs the stat sheet on any given night with her play. Last year she averaged 12.4 ppg, 9.5 rebounds, 4.9 blocks, 4.8 steals and 3.4 assists. Page will start her senior season with 1,003 points, 779 rebounds, 321 steals and 295 blocks in her career. Gwendasia jumped up to #36 in this new set of rankings after being listed at #69 back in June.
Hammond went up in Classification after play at little North HS a Class 1A program to Airport HS this coming season. Keyosha is a nice addition to the Lady Eagles roster this season. Hammond is best suited off the ball and playing out on the perimeter. She can really knockdown the 3-ball when she gets her feet set.
Hammond made the move up to #70 in the state from #109 previously back in June.
Sanders-Smith is the glue down in the paint for the Lady Eagles. She brings a rugged look and toughness to the floor. Zanyiah really likes to play physical on the floor and has no problems using up her 5 fouls every game. She works for position down low by carving out space using her body. Sanders-Smith will manufacture points on putbacks and playing with her back to the basket at times.
Zanyiah made the move up to #87 this time around after being ranked #110 back in June.
Johnson was great back in September with her play at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo. She really came of nowhere with her play. Krystal is a physical undersized post player who really delivers a punch around the basket. She connected on some short turnaround jumpers here today when she wasn’t finishing putbacks on the glass. Krystal simply outworked players all day long with her play. Johnson connected and scored over bigger post players down on the block.
She will look to have a big season for the Lady Bulldogs this season in Class 2A. Johnson really moved up to #84 after being #156 this past June.
