Hughes missed the entire 2022-2023 season due to injury. She is a terrific ball handler that sees the floor very well and does a good job putting her teammates in position to score. Hughes is also a knock-down shooter from deep with incredible range. I watched her compete over the summer and she looked like the best player on the floor at times. I see a bounce back year for her no doubt about it.
Howard scored her 2000th point as a junior and led Christian Fellowship to their best season in program history with a record of 22-11. She is a bucket-getter and one of the top players in region 1. She led the Lady Eagles in scoring averaging 18.2PPG. I see her doing even better as a senior this season.
Is a three sport athlete that plays basketball, soccer, and runs track. She put up 11.9PPG and was a key contributor for the Banshees last season on their run to the Sweet 16 state tournament. Miles loves to compete hard at whatever she does, I should mention that she made the game tying goal that set up her sister Tessa Miles for the game winning goal, that led to the Bethlehem girls soccer teams first KHSAA state championship in program history. Ashlyn is already committed to play soccer at the next level but I see her being all in for her senior season knowing she has a chance to win a state championship in basketball to.
May was the 2nd leading scorer for a Pike County Central team that won the 60th district. She is very active on both ends. Defensively, she does a great job being disruptive and getting steals. Offensively, she is a lethal spot-up shooter that can really light it up from three. May put up 14.1PPG last season and shot 73% from the free throw line making 133 out of 182 attempts.
Kloeck averaged 8.8PPG for Oldham County last season. She is very effective when she attacks the basket off the dribble. Her size, speed, and strength that allows her to get past defenders into the paint for points inside. She has good body control and finishes well through contact. Kloeck is poised for a big senior season.
