SubscribeHere we have a collective of players we believe are great shooters at this moment in the season, we have those who are verified shooters and we have those who are streaky shooters, we are highlighting the verified shooters. Here are our selecction on what we have seen since the kids have started playing in the preseason.
2024, 6’0, PF, Etiwanda HS, Kennedy Smith
Kennedy has been working on her perimeter game for some time, she made good strides last year and ended the season on a game winning shot, so we are very glad to see her shoot the ball consistently. She has perfected the midrange jumper from the freethrow line and she is even stretching the floor this year by shooting the deep three pointer in your face. We look forward to seeing her light it up this season and take her team back to the Championships with her leadership.
2024, 6’0, CG, Troy HS, Annika Jiwani
Annika is a shotmaker and down right just plain scorer with the ball in her hands, she put up long ball shots and makes them look easy. She steps over the half court line and lets them fly, her coach does not even flinch, because he knows 7 out of 10 times she will be nothing but twine from the floor. She is aggressive and we love that trait, but what we love the most is her tenacity on the floor. She is a bonafide shooter and coaches already know this, expect her OFFERS to grow this season, she is a player.
2024, 5’7, CG, South Pasadena HS, Dylan Tse
Dylan can score the ball as well, she is a killer on the floor, she is trying to get buckets each and every time she comes down the floor, we love her approach to the game as a lead guard. She has a nice size for a guard and she knows how to exploit mismatches on the floor with the pick and roll game with her teammates. She shoots the ball with alot of confidence and she can make her way into the paint and get the defenses to collapse so she can either get a easy score or kick out to an open teammate.
2024, 5’9, CG, Oak Park HS, Lindsay Gould
Lindsay is a mobile big who has the ability to stretch the floor with her three point shooting, she is dangerous from the corner and she has no problem shooting it off the catch or the dribble with her quick release. She is a natural moving on the floor, she gets free for easy jumpers with her awareness on the floor, she can also score in the paint over both shoulders and can seal her opponent in the paint for easy buckets. I even believe she is a good defender and shot blocker if she puts her mind to it.
