Abby Hollis Abby Hollis 5'7" | CG Albany | 2025 State WI
No matter where I’ve seen Hollis play or who I’ve seen her play with, she’s always punished defenders for not getting out quick enough. Her shot is a legitimate offensive weapon, and she’s not afraid to shoot well beyond the high school line. I’ve also liked how Hollis gets to her shots off the dribble. There have been games where she’s been unguardable for some teams, and it’s how she led her team to a state tournament appearance last season. She’s also sneaky good at drawing charges.
Madisyn Berggren Madisyn Berggren 5'8" | SF West De Pere | 2025 State WI
Berggren’s offensive game stems from her ability to shoot the lights out. For one, you have to take her airspace as a defender because she has a quick trigger, but if you turn your head to a guard attacking your area of the court, more than likely, you’re about to get back cut. I’ve also liked her ability to attack aggressive closeouts and get into her floater game because it’s something she’s put some time into, and it forces defenses to think about what they’re doing when they close out on Berggren, which gives her enough time to get her shot off.
Danica Gosz Danica Gosz 5'8" | SG Germantown | 2025 State WI
The Germantown wing has earned a reputation for being a kid who shoots defenses out of games, and that’s fair, but there are some things that I think go underappreciated in her game. For one, I’ve always liked her footwork. She’s not a kid who’ll turn the ball over cheaply because she moves her pivot fall after getting off-balance. She’s got a strong core that allows her to take contact and be able to make plays despite that. Now that the Warhawks have all these scrappy defensive kids, her offensive skills may shine this season at Germantown.
Makenzie Luehring Makenzie Luehring 5'6" | PG Kettle Moraine Lutheran | 2025 State WI
I’ll never forget seeing Luehring play JV basketball as a freshman when I saw Kettle Moraine Lutheran play Homestead, and even then, I thought she’d be an excellent scorer at the varsity level. She’s undersized compared to other high-volume scoring guards in the state. However, Leurhing is one of the more consistent kids around and routinely punishes defenses for giving her breathing room, whether on the perimeter or when getting downhill. She can score at all three levels, plus, like every other undersized KML guard. She’s as scrappy as anyone defensively. She’ll be an issue for D3 teams to handle.
