tools she's a potential D1 kid.  Her length makes her a high level defender as well.  She impacts winning on both sides of the ball, and finds a way to help her team a big time creator yet, but has the size to become one.  Does crash the glass hard and will score on extra chance points.  Loves to play with her back to the basket, and has a nice array of post moves.  Understands footwork and angles well.  High IQ kid.rnrnGritty defender and rebounder.  Really takes pride on the defensive is the type of kid that won't jump out at you on the box score, but she contributes all across the board in multiple categories.  A tremendous role player in that she excels at the intangibles, and is can already hit 3s at a high percentage.  She's not a high volume shooter, but she will eventually be that kid that hits a couple 3s a game, defends her position, plays smart and under control, and simply impacts winning.  Fun kid to watch compete.  It will be hard to earn a ton of playing time this season at GP, but her time is when surrounded by so many skilled returners.  Mejias will be asked to u0022star in her roleu0022u002du002ddefend her position, value the ball, know who and needs to touch it and where, and when D's collapse on the u0022starsu0022, knock down open shots.  Mejias gives GP another offensive weapon which makes them so hard to defend.  She will have her breakout year as a Jr and Sr.  Now, she's competing for a state
