Continue ReadingJaida continues to be a top performing guard that tops the list of high performers anytime she plays the game. She is the engine that makes this team go and can handle a heavy offensive load. She is just so good at analyzing the defense and consistently looks for ways to get her teammates involved. When she wants to attack the lane, she is like a bowling ball that can not be stopped. Overall she is a player I believe the recruitment must pick up for as she can certainly be in a wide variety of offensive systems and adjust to whatever her coach wants her to run.
Maya’s overall improvement as a basketball player is one of the best in North Carolina. She has the developed the speed and quickness it takes to be a high level guard and she has truly separated herself. She had a play during Saturday’s contest where she was able to utilize a beautiful quick first step by her defender followed by a floater in the lane. She is played at a different speed right now. She is much stronger than it appears and you have to just lover her overall skillset. She was able to get into the lane nearly anytime she wanted and she can defend at a very high level at the guard spot. Whoever lands this special talent is in for a real treat.
Here is a guard that is no stranger to being on any list that contains being a top player in it. Kamryn’s mentality as a player is one that is coveted by coaches. Very tough minded and plays like the court belongs to her. When she gets in her zone, she can absolutely put on a show. She must be accounted for at all times and even on nights that she may struggle a bit, she will still find a way to put up double digits. With offers from a number of high major programs, any college will be fortunate to have her in their program.
4 straight years, Ella has been the dominate player we have known her to be and Friday was no exception. She hit shot after shot from pretty much everywhere on the court. Over the years, you have to love the way she has developed her game outside of the paint and can be a threat from anywhere she desires to be. During Friday’s contest, she was able to operate flawlessly on the low post block, drawing double and triple teams from her defenders while still managing to score. Heading to Ohio State in the fall, Ella can certainly contribute from the start and it will be exciting to see her career flourish in Coach McGuff’s system.
