SubscribeI’m dropping the 2027 WATCHLIST of around 15 to 20 players next week and to the novices as well as those who forget, it is a WATCH-LIST, not a RANKING and my definition of a watchlist is to watch how that list changes as I see more players. Always remember when submitting rosters, I need NAME, JERSEY NUMBER, and GRADUATING CLASS at the minimum but it would also be extremely helpful for the PLAYERS, not me, for height, contact information as well as social media handles because I always look at my wrist and usually don’t have time today or any other day to research but here’s what’s coming

A’Niyah Harmon
A’Niyah Harmon
Harmon mesmerized me a few years ago when she was in the 6th grade and had me drop the #D1Lock on her, at her club team’s practice, remember I am a REAL EVALUATOR, not someone who copies and fill in the blanks yet she fills in many blanks because she understands how to control the tempo, her court vision in the set as well as in transition is solid, so is her pull-up jumper which she can drop with a hand in her face. She also does a good job attacking the basket and finishes strongly after contact

Val Campos
Val Campos
Campos grabbed my attention immediately because her “poise under pressure” stood out and watching her do things instinctively as well as how she reacted in certain situations has been the blueprint I have followed since I started doing this. She did a good job of handling the ball while being defended and saw the floor in the open court as well as the half court. She also played within herself, aka, didn’t do anything out of the ordinary and her upside is good

Cole has the right last name because she is COLE on the court. She may be one of the sleepers in the Texas class of talented freshmen because her ceiling has no roof and here’s why. First of all, she’s fearless and understands how to use her athleticism to her advantage on both ends of the court and her “on the ball” defense immediately stood out. I gave her the cover photo because oh her numerous acrobatic finishes after contact, yet her pull-up jumper in the set as well as the stop and pop in transition was really nice. She also played the passing lane and saw the floor yet that explosive first step is going to be a problem
Burns has done a good job of adding more to her game than dropping the long ball and what I really like is that she can play multiple positions. Being a big guard that can shoot is always going to be on the short lists for many next level programs, trust me, I know things. She’s scoring off the dribble, with either hand, posting up smaller players as well as rebounding on both ends and handling the ball afterward to either go coast to coast or see the floor. Her interior defense as well as stepping outside the paint and guard her man are also pluses that keep getting better
Highlights

Serenah Coleman
Serenah Coleman
Coleman has those SC initials so being unknown to me and watching her on show that #sizedontmater on the court was easy because she can play. She was another player that understands the importance of using her athleticism on both ends and her baseline to baseline on the ball pressure helped to not only create turnovers, but change he momentum of the game. She handled the ball in taffic, she saw the floor and she used a deceptive first step to attack the basket

Ma’Ryiah Alfred
Ma’Ryiah Alfred
Alfred also got that coveted #D1Lock dropped on her a few years ago and watching her add even more to her impressive game has me thinking Top 100 nationally. She’s a long and athletic guard that creates her shot under pressure and knocks it down from mid to long range with ease. She elevates on her jumper yet her variety of moves to attack the basket, including the HEZ, helps to keep the defender guessing but she has implemented a solid step back which will be a GAMECHANGER. Solid court vision, on the ball defense and she even grabs rebounds
