Sierra is one of the most underrated posts in Southwest Ohio but she is a major scorer for the Dixie Greyhounds. She is a strong physical player who does a nice job anywhere in the paint, and can play through contact. Has good handles and is able to distribute as needed. She is hoping to lead Dixie to another good season after winning 15 games last year. She led her conference in scoring and was second in rebounding last season.

The very first thing I said about her when I first saw her play a couple of years ago is her ability to control the boards and rebound everything in sight! With the loss of all-Ohio guard Sami Bardonaro, I expect Laurens production to increase. She is strong in the paint, soft touch at the rim and can step out and drop the midrange. Imposing defender and the conference Player of the Year in volleyball may want another honor for hoops!
Everyone knows about Maddie, she is a major D1 recruit from Alter who has seen her game become difficult to defend. Moves well around the rim but is not confined to the paint. Has good range, can defend mulitple postions. Runs the floor well and can catch and score. Smart basketball IQ and is a great team leader.
Highlights
McKayah has worked her way into the Super 60 after some great work over the last few years. I can remember when she was just a freshman, now the college recruit (headed to Taylor) is a force in the paint. Very fundamental with good skillset, great footwork and a nice soft touch at the rim. Uses the glass well. Strong rebounder, solid physical defender.
Another post player who I feel could have a breakout year for the Green Wave. Megan is a fundamental post with good length and footwork around the paint. Can score at the rim, and she has a good work ethic, can rebound and protect the ball. Will have to step up her game with the loss of their two guard leaders from last season.

Taylor is one of the top returning post players in the MAC, and she really had a solid postseason tournament last year. Solid athletic post player with good handles, able to run the floor and she has good court vision. Able to block and alter shots with her length.
Only a sophomore, she had a really good summer including some good performances on the PGH Circuit with Ohio Premier . Strong physical player who uses her strength to post up her opponent at the rim and score. Powerful rebounder and can lead the break with good vision and a solid outlet pass. Definately one to watch.
Look, she is a 6-foot physical all-around player who can play the post because she is so strong, but she can also play the perimeter as her 45-point performance showed in a tournament game last spring, in a game I was present. I saw for myself she can hurt you anywhere, knocks down threes, makes the great pass. She legit plays any position and can defend anyone. Special player.
