The early session featured Arundel, Friendly, Largo, Liberty and Suitland. The games were 20 minutes long and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Here is a look at some of the prospects who look like they are ready to play.

Jasmine Germany
Powerful point guard with good upper body strength. She finished strong at the rim with both hands, usually off two feet. She is very physical and attacks the basket aggressively. On defense she applied good ball pressure without fouling. I would like to see her play off ball with a dynamic ball handler is it could really unlock her game.
This was a good day for Jayla. She showed a good feel for the game and a solid IQ. She helped the point guard advance the ball and showed good ball security. She has a nice pull-up jumper and made some nice plays on defense. She should have a good season.
Junora Lee

Junora is a bit undersized to be playing center and power forward, but her team lacks size, so she makes it work. She has good length and a nice touch in the paint and doesn’t mind mixing it up with bigger players. Defensively she uses her long arms and footwork to bother ball handlers. She was solid in pick and roll situations, fighting through or hedging enough to disrupt.
Aleah had a solid day. Her jumper from three-point range was on point as usual, and she scored a bunch of transition buckets off her defense. She was applying on ball pressure and came up with a number of steals which lead to easy fast breaks. She’ll be one of the top scorers in PG County this season. She transferred in from National Christian Academy.
