When talking about newcomers making a splash, none made more of an impact to the rankings than Damia. Her on the ball defense is tough and I like the aggressiveness in attacking the basket. Oxon Hill fell short of a state championship last season making it to the final four. It looks like with her return they could be amongst the front runners for a title this season.
Indira joins Damia on the Clippers quest for a title run. She has a strong physical frame that is unmatched in most of the public school programs. She finishes well and could command double teams a lot which will open up the floor for the shooters.
Jaden has great perimeter size and her skill level is exceptional. She has some nice offensive weaponry and will probably put up some good numbers for the Doves. If she can lift her teammates level it can hopefully translate into some quality wins against some of the top half of the league.
Vivian lands a spot in the rankings as the #10 shooting guard in the class. I was impressed watching her weave through traffic in games and saw her range from beyond the arc. She has the talent to add some wins to the program and should be penciled in for double figures every game.
Highlights
Jaden has good vision and sets up her teammates well. She is very quick which seems to make the game slow down for her. She can score when needed but is content with others scoring as long as her team wins. Defensively she plays well on the ball. She enters the rankings at the #52 spot.
