Delta | 2026

, 2026, 5-9 F, Delta H.S.
– I have touched on Jillian’s game recently, and she has been all-around impressive to begin the year. As Delta turned to younger players last season, she was able to gain a lot of experience. Now as a Sophomore, she is putting those lessons to use, averaging 17.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 4.4 steals per game. If she can stretch her game to the 3-point line, watch out.
Ava Burkle, 2026, 5-9 W, Rossville H.S.
– Ava is another youngster who took advantage of early playing time a year ago and is applying it to her Sophomore season. Now, as she leads the Hornets into action, she is averaging 17.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game. She does have a little touch outside, but that should continue to become more consistent. Gaining strength will be big for her.

, 2026, 5-9 W, Tell City H.S.
– Reese is flying under the radar down along the Ohio River in Tell City. She is a solid all-around athlete, and she is another Sophomore in her second year of Varsity action. She is a capable 3-point (35%) and free throw shooter (72%), plus she is shooting a solid 49% from the field. Reese is averaging 16.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game for the Marksmen.

West Washington | 2026

, 2026, 5-7 W, West Washington H.S.
– Meredith saw action in her rookie season a year ago, and she is one of those kids who does a little of everything to help her team. She is averaging 15.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per game. She’s knocking down 37% of her 3-point attempts, plus she’s attacking the basket consistently and drawing contact. She is definitely a playmaker at the 1A level.
Aftin Griffin, 2026, 5-1 G, Lewis Cass H.S.
– Aftin isn’t very big, but she makes a major impact for the Cass Kings each night. She is a capable perimeter shooter, she is burying a respectable 74% of her free throws, plus she is a playmaker with the ball. Aftin is averaging 14.8 points, 2.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game, while helping the Kings to a 5-1 start to the year. As she gets stronger, she’ll be even better.
