Kamryn Porter
Kamryn Porter
Kamryn Porter (2024) 5’9 SG is an impressive PROSPECT at De La Salle. She has outstanding athleticism, leaping ability, relentless effort on both ends, finishing footwork, ball handling moves, and court vision to drive and kick to open teammates. Kamryn has 1,000 points in her career and it’s easy to see why when you watch her beat defenders off the dribble then finish off one and two feet in the paint. Kamryn stole many passes Friday and turned on the jets to score in transition, also drawing a charge in the paint. She had a double double for rebounds and points; Kamryn put on a show at the Bill Neibch Tourney in every aspect for her team.
Amadea Montijo Amadea Montijo 5’6″ | CG Bartlett | 2024 IL is an outstanding PG for Bartlett who showed off her next level skills Friday at the Bill Neibch Tourney. Game Notes: floater finish, dribbles past two defenders pressing up the sideline, flies down the floor, pocket dribbles, behind the back snaps, steal, one handed rocket pass up the court in transition, creates space to see the court and move the ball, downhill drive and elevates to finish a floater in the lane. She deflected and stole passes defensively, drilled a pull-up 3 from the wing, and scored downhill drive floaters. Amadea plays with poise running the point and makes smart decisions with the ball; she scores at all three levels and has the toughness to finish contested shots on drives. Amadea creates space and applies pressure defensively to force turnovers. She is an outstanding 2024 prospect for the Hawks.
Olivia Schuster Olivia Schuster 6’1″ | C Harry D. Jacobs | 2027 IL is a towering 2027 prospect for Jacobs who played well Friday at the Bill Neibch Tourney. Game Notes: blocks shot in transition, floater finish in the paint, has sneaky speed and motors down the floor with her dribble, pursues rebounds and loose balls. Block, defensive rebound, floater off two in paint, offensive rebound, floater finish off of baseline pass. Olivia controls the boards inside using her length and anticipation; she has the length at 6’1 and quickness to become an outstanding prospect as she fine tunes her face up game and outside shooting.
Highlights
Zara Lewis
Zara Lewis
Zara Lewis (2026) is a long, athletic, prospect for Jacobs. Game Notes: Steal, assist, runner in paint, dreb, deflection, deflection on drive, downhill drive and finish with the foul, hits free throw, long, athletic, draws defenders on drives then dishes to open teammates, Next play mentality, dreb, oreb finish at rim. Her most impressive plays during the game were plays you will never see on a stat sheet. Her head coach provided direct feedback at halftime, Zara appeared humble, receptive, and respectful. Later in the game they had a similar exchange, which shows there is a level of trust and direct communication not all athletes can handle. Only a sophomore, Zara has the athleticism and attributes that make her an excellent prospect as she fine tunes her offensive skills.
Isabel Castro
Isabel Castro
Isabel Castro (2025) is a 5’7 SG for Elgin who had her sites lined up from beyond the arc at the Bill Neibch Tourney Friday.
