Bethesda led throughout the entire game with Seneca Valley starting off very slowly but hanging around for most of the game. Seneca Valley’s strategy seemed to be pounding the ball inside where they had a size advantage, but they could not consistently make shots against Bethesda’s stingy defense. Senior guard Anna Tercyak led everyone is scoring with 25 points as she helped Bethesda thwart all rallies that came their way. The final score was Bethesda CC 49. Seneca Valley 39.
Anna Tercyak, 2024, 5’6″ Guard, Bethesda-Chevy Chase
Anna had 25 points and was the game’s top scorer. She attacked the rim aggressively and played with a lot of confidence. She hit one three- pointer to show off her range, but she did most of her damage off drives to the hoop and at the foul line.
Jaylin Harried, 2025, 5’7″ Wing, Bethesda Chevy-Chase
Jaylin chipped in 9 points and played some really good defense, showing the ability to guard on the perimeter and in the paint against bigger players. She’s a good athlete and has a great feel for the game.
Elisha Robinson Elisha Robinson 5'6" | CG Bethesda Chevy Chase | 2025 State MD , 2025, 5’5″ Point Guard, Bethesda- Chevy Chase
Elisha had a solid game. She was under heavy pressure all game and did a good job of keeping her dribble, keeping her head up and making good decisions. She scored 6 points and came up with a few steals and deflections.
Jayden Addison, 2026, 5’6′ Guard, Seneca Valley
Jayden led the team in scoring with 16 points. She made 3 three-pointers and really helped the team stay close to Bethesda when no one else could make a shot. She played good defense and was all over the court making hustle plays and fighting to the end. I thought she should have taken more three-point shots as Bethesda was packing the paint.
Destiny Smith, 2024, 5’8″ Wing, Seneca Valley
Destiny only scored 3 points, but I liked her defense at the point of attack and thought she provided the team with a lot of spark from hustle plays.
