Game Notes, Chaparral at Hutchinson Trinity

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Chaparral Roadrunners traveled north to Hutchinson to take on Celtics of Hutchinson Trinity Catholic. After holding a slim first quarter lead the Celtics survived turnovers and many early missed free throws to enter the final stanza up double digits. The Roadrunners put on their track shoes at the very end of the third and ratched up that full court pressure in the fourth. Chaparral reeled off 13-0 run to tie the game at the six minute mark before finally seizing the lead with under four minutes to go. Dictating in the half court enabled the Roadrunners to leave Hutchinson with a 39-35 win. Primarily working in the high give-and-go game she showed good use of her size and length to catch tough passes and rebounds in traffic. She showed scoring and, especially, good transition passing ability but she uses that passing ability to creating shots for her teammates. Doing that opens up shots and scoring opportunities for herself.
