Emuze is no fluke, she has quickness, IQ, and the athleticism to score at will. Emuze is a polished three level scorer. She plays an up-tempo style of basketball, excels at reading the play off a screen/handoff and finding space to quickly get her shot off while driving to the basket. Has the ability to beat her defender and is fearless when taking it to the rack. When she squares up, she is difficult to stop, quick release, good mechanics on her shot . Comes off a lot of ball screens to find space and react. She has good handle and ball control to dictate the pace of play. Doesn't turn the ball over. She can light it up from the perimeter, slash to the basket, or drive and dish to open teammates for easy buckets. On the defensive end, Mercado is a menace, pressing her defenders and looking for opportunities to take it coast to coast. There is a lot to like about Logie's game. She has great court IQ on the offensive end. She has improved her shooting from the perimeter and you are starting to see the work pay off. She has good athleticism to beat you on or off the dribble. Likes to utilize drag screens and dribble handoffs to get to the rack.
