Elise Jaeger Elise Jaeger 6'1" | PF Valley | 2024 State IA and her Des Moines Valley Tigers team, has started off this season with a bang. Not only are they undefeated at 4-0 but two of those four wins have come against top ranking teams in the 5A Class throughout the state in the forms of Dowling Catholic and Waukee Northwest. The reason for their success is way more then just one thing or factor but a huge impact is due to the play of Jaeger. She isn’t only eating on both sides of the floor but she is also grabbing right around 10 rebound per game. If you are familiar with Jaeger’s game, none of this is news to you. She has great height at 6’1, is athletic, is skilled, and is knowledgeable when it comes to the strategic part of the sport. That’s why she is going to flourish this season moving forward and eventually with her UNI Panthers team, once her high school career comes to a close. With the current game-play of this Tigers team and the personal that they possess, it’ll be interesting come Playoff time. If they keep on this pace, this is a group we will be seeing in Des Moines, competing for a State Title in 2024. There is just no other way around that.
